Kamado Joe Big Joe® Grill – Series II Standalone

What a MACHINE! Can you ask for a better package than than the Classic 2? Metal shelves, ligt assist hinge, latching lid, Kontrol tower. What a value. Not to mention a HUGE value just going with the Kamado Joe over the competition. It comes with everhthing you need from the start. No buying extras unless you want to. I love my Joe. I have been a satisfied warranty customer as well. I will never shy away from the smoker. For the last 8 years it hasnt let me down once.

Awesome smoker! I received my Big Joe as a surprise birthday gift from my significant other after I mentioned how good the brisket and turkey tasted from a good friends Big Joe. I love the sustained heat smoking controls for long cooks and ample surface area for large quantities of meat/vegetables. It pairs very well with my Joe Jr.

Love this grill. We bought this grill about a month ago. We are so glad we did. We love to cook on it. It’s much easier than using our pit boss.

Best gril I've ever had. Honestly the best grill I've had because it is not gas and lets me control the temp easily with heat shields and grate height. I installed it with a Ash and Amber teak table, which needed a little modification, but looks great now!

Frustrating Customer Experience. We ordered the Kamado Joe II directly from the company’s website in June. When It arrived three weeks later, we discovered the wire mesh gasket was completely damaged, rendering the grill unusable. The damage was so obvious that it could not possibly have been missed had it underwent any quality control inspection before being shipped. After submitting a warranty claim, a replacement mesh gasket arrived a couple of weeks later, allowing us to assemble the grill. At that point we discovered the side shelves were missing entirely, requiring a second warranty claim for a brand-new product. We have also been informed that the replacement side shelves are now on back order and will not be shipped until November. As a result, our order will not be complete until approximately five months after purchase - and just in time for winter! Grill itself is great, but the lack of quality control and the resulting delays have been extremely disappointing. These are not the kind of issues customers should encounter when purchasing a premium, high-end product.

This one goes to 11! After years of outdoor cooking and tons of research, I finally made the investment in a KJ2 classic. So far I'm very impressed. Build quality is fantastic. I put it through its paces last week with a slow and low smoked plate ribs, smoked almonds, reverse seared tritip and corn on the cob- with temps ranging from 225 to 550 - all in one session! My visiting buddies were impressed. I was asked why I chose Joe over competitors. I pointed to the top dial and explained "This one goes to 11."

10/10 recommend. I’ve had my Kamado Joe for a few months now, and it’s easily been one of my favorite purchases of all time. The temperature control is incredibly precise once you learn your vent settings, making everything from low-and-slow briskets to high-heat searing steaks come out consistently great. The build quality is excellent. It feels like a product that’s meant to last for years, and features like the racks cooking system and the air-lift hinge make it much more versatile and enjoyable to use than I expected. One thing that really surprised me is how efficient it is with charcoal. A little fuel goes a long way, and it’s easy to shut it down and save what’s left for the next cook. Cooking on it has become a genuinely fun hobby, almost to a fault!! If you’re on the fence, I’d absolutely recommend it.

Great Grill Once You Learn How to Use It. I’ve owned my Kamado Joe Classic II grill for over 5 years and it took some time to learn to cook on this equipment, but once I did it’s been very versatile for smoking, grilling, rotisserie and even pizza making! I have had to replace the seals after about 3 years and the deflector plates after about 2 years, but overall this has been a good performing grill and has sidelined my gas grill.

The best grill that produces amazing food. I bought this grill after my 3rd Traeger failed me. My neighbor a few years back had the Big Green Egg and his food was amazing. I started cooking on the Kamado Classic Joe II just a week ago and seared 2 swordfish steaks and roasted fresh carrots and beets. I was in food heaven. The swordfish was so delicious along with the carrots and beets. I really enjoy the entire experience of lighting the grill and grilling. What an amazing grill.

Classic Joe II is perfection. Purchased a couple months ago and couldn’t be happier. Versatile and a lot of fun to use. Easy enough to get great results and amazing food.

Awesome Grill Big JOE II. This is my 2nd Kamado Joe. We loved our Classic II 18" that it was a must have to upgrade to the Big Joe II 24" These grills are amazing to cook on and worth the money. Also, when we got the grill, we had a couple of firebox pieces that were broke. Contacted Customer support and Sabrina had replacements on the way immediately. Amazing customer service.

Love my Joe. I've had my Joe for several years and I cook on it weekly, sometime several times a week

Great smoker. New to smoking and this made learning easy. Amazing quality, no regrets. Arrived quickly

Awesome product. This thing is a beast. Well worth the hefty price tag because this will last a lifetime. It does have a learning curve and can be frustrating but once you get the hang of it the food it makes is worth the wait

AMAZING PRODUCT. I ALSO OWN THE SMALL JOE BUT WANTED MORE COOKING SURFACE AND THIS THING DOES NOT DISSAPPOINT.

Grilled for the first time on my new Kamado Big. Everything cooked very well and the flavor was outstanding!

Recently Got one. I recently purchased one of these grills ans I absolutely love it. It retains heat well and it's easy to clean up.

Superb Grill. After having the Big Joe 3, Classic and Joe Jr for almost 4 years, I gave away the Classic and purchased the Classic 2. My Classic was my workhorse, followed by the Big Joe then the Joe Jr. Now with the Classic 2 filling in for the Classic with its additional features, I’m back in action. Grilled 3 baby backs its first cook and they were delicious.

So fun to cook on. This took a few weeks for it to be delivered, but it was well worth the wait. I don't have a ton of experience in grilling, so this was a bit of a leap of faith. But I made the best potatoes of my life on this thing. And it was so fun to cook over an open flame. The setup can be a little daunting, so I'd recommend watching a YouTube video. But overall, I'm so happy I bought this. I can't wait to try out additional recipes in the future.

My favorite way to cook. I have it all. Smoker, grill, Griddle, and my Classic II is my favorite way to cook. Accessories are great and the grill is very versatile, although I will admit I have not used it as a classic smoker yet.

Best Smoker I Have Ever Owned. The Kamado Joe has elevated my smoking experience. Briskets come out tender and juicy, with just the right amount of smoke. Ribs do NOT burn and turkey on Thanksgiving has never been better. I even do Pizzas for the gang as an appetizer and all love it. Best grill ever.

Super versatile and easy to use. I have had the Classic Joe for 3 years and has been my primary cooking grill during that time, taking the place of my propane BBQ and Trager pellet grill. Once the temp is set you can walk away, knowing that everything is going to be alright.

Big Bad Awsome Grill. I have had this Kamado Joe for 4 years now and it is my go to over my regular style barbecue when I want everything perfect for company. Love My Big Joe!!!!

Great product. Replaced my original Big Joe with the upgraded one.All the new features are so much better! Love it, Love it, Love it !!!

Texas Grilling Done Right. We absolutely love our Kamado Joe charcoal grill — it’s the only grill we use anymore. My husband is a true Texas griller, and this grill delivers every single time. There is just something about cooking over real charcoal, and the Kamado Joe makes it incredibly easy to control temperature while still giving you that authentic wood-fired flavor. It especially shines with tomahawk steaks — perfectly seared on the outside with a deep, rich crust and unbelievably juicy inside. But it’s not just for steaks. He makes incredible ribs and brisket that would make any Texan proud, and every Thanksgiving our turkey goes on the Kamado Joe. The flavor is unmatched. One of our favorite things he does is smoke turkey breast and slice it for homemade lunch meat. It tastes better than anything from the store, and we love knowing exactly what’s in it. The heat retention is outstanding, the smoke flavor is bold but clean, and the versatility is incredible. From weeknight dinners to holiday feasts, this grill handles it all. If you love true charcoal flavor and serious Texas-style cooking, this is the grill to own. Five stars all the way.

8 years and going strong!! I purchased my KJ Classic Joe II in 2018 and I have ran way over 1,000 cooks on it. From quick cooks to low and slow cooks, this KJ II has been on point each time. Proper maintenance has kept my KJ in tip top form.

Just about 10 years old and still going great. My Wife makes the same comment all the time. “ That is the Best gift I ever bought you. “ No doubt she’s right

Best investment for my backyard! I’ve had my Classic Joe Series II for a few years now, and it has completely changed how I cook outdoors. The air lift hinge is a total game-changer—I can lift the lid with a single finger. It holds temperatures incredibly well, whether I'm doing a low-and-slow brisket or searing steaks at high heat. The Kontrol Tower top vent is also great for keeping settings consistent even if it’s raining. If you’re on the fence, just get it. The build quality is top-notch and the food tastes significantly better than a standard gas or charcoal grill.

Simply Incredible. Fantastic looking, incredibly efficient and creates some of the best food we've ever eaten. Great for smoking, cooking and warming food. Absolutely stunning piece of kit.

Very versatile, but with a couple quirks. Works great at from low to high temps (250 F to 800+ F). The two tier cooking is nice and use of the deflector plates offers a lot of versatility for direct and indirect smoking to high temp grilling. Very solid and when adjusted properly, it will be airtight when finished cooking to save charcoal. The quirks are having the side tables made of plastic, rather than heat proof metal, and especially having all four wheels able to spin making it sometimes squirrels to maneuver, especially into a smaller BBQ shed. Also, the rubber wheels fell apart after several years. Replaced them with 4" (from the original 3") making it somewhat easier to maneuver.

Great Cooking machine. I received mine as a Christmas gift in 2022. Really enjoying it.

Everything You Need. I bought this cooker about 3 years ago. I love how versatile this grill is. Low and slow or hot and fast, the big joe has you covered.

Amazing product. I don’t own one of these myself but I used this one at a buddies house and this thing is phenomenal. The flavor that it adds to chicken is amazing

Best Grill/Smoker/Oven Ever. I got my Kamado Joe right before COVID started from Costco. It was the first piece to the beginning of my outdoor kitchen build. It is so versatile! I have smoked, grilled, seared, rotisserie, made excellent pizza, and even made a pound cake. It is perfect for smores with the kiddos when you don't have the ability to have a camp fire. It is like a safe campfire in a bowl! It is the most efficient at holding the heat no matter if it is 100 or -5 degrees outside. It also has any accessory that you could possibly want for any food you would like to cook. I have owned a lot of grills and smoker. every from gas, to charcoal to dual fuel. Kamadoe Joe has been far superior to anything I have ever owned. It's efficient, low maintenance, easy to use and nice to look at.

Easy to use! So glad I finally bought one! By far the easiest grill I’ve owned to maintain a temperature over a long period of time. Wether cooking burgers or ribs they come out perfect every time. I use it all year round. In summer and in the snow of winter! Works great all the time!

Best Ceramic grill on the market! I have had my Kamodo Joe classic for about 9 years now.I bbq a lot at least once and sometimes more during my week. Even in the winter time. Kamodo Joe charcoal gives great flavor and heat to your grill. I have all the accessories too and they are fabulous! I use my dojo a lot for pizza and it comes out amazing. The rotisserie is my favorite accessory and I use it a lot too.i recommend Kamodo Joe grills and accessories very high quality products.

Good buy. Good performance and great results. Unfortunately, accessories are very expensive. Many of m friends have bought one after tasting the finished products , such as brisket and pork .

Absolutely love it. Absolutely love it! Been making some great bbq ever since. High quality smoker for a great price

EXCELLENT SMOKE. great food, nothing beats a ceramic smoker, looking to buy a connected in near future

Go Big! The sales rep told me that he’s never had anyone say they regret getting the Big Joe and should have gotten the Classic one. Got the Big Joe and totally agree, you can cook anything from a full size brisket to just a couple of steaks. Great flavor and amazing heat retention. No regrets.

Love my Big Joe. I've had my big joe for years and I absolutely love it.

Rotisserie Turkey for Thanksgiving. Turkey came out ridiculously good. Fun way to cook turkey too!

I love it! I have had this grill for a little over a year. It took me a couple of cooks to get the hang of it, but I absolutely love it now. I love it so much that I got rid of my gas grill. I use this all the time. I didn't realize how easily the temperature could be controlled.

Our Family Loves Our Kamado Joe. We’ve made so many great memories through everything from homemade Neapolitan pizza to the best Ribeye steak for special occasions. Grateful to have bought this several years ago and continues to hold up like it did when I bought it.

SERIES II BIG JOE FIRST 3 MONTHS. The Big Joe Series II is a cooking machine!! My cooks have ranged from burgers, hotdogs, short cooks and long cooks. Once the Big Joe is dialed in for desired temp even when it's cold, raining or snowing it just runs and runs!! To be very honest the only negative is the paint on the Kontrol Tower will start flaking off after a few cooks. I sent email to customer service and replacement Kontrol Tower was delivered in a couple of days.

Great features and love it! Great features and works well! Want to try out the soap stone next!

Low & slow or hot & fast. The do all grill with great smoke flavor. No tending a fire all night - just dial it in and let it ride. There is no other grill that can do it all. I can do all my Texas BBQ on this thing.

Best all around grill. I bought this 6yrs ago, after using a lot of research. I also own a Large BGE and the Kamodo Joe is definitely my grill of choice. It is better for grilling and is far more flexible than the BGE

Awesome quality! Love these grills, they are very comparable if not better than Green egg and at a much more affordable price.

Great product and features. I purchased the Kamado Joe II 24 inch last Month and love it

It does what they say it does. Had 2 yrs now, love it, family and friends amazed at it’s versatility and finished food tastes.

Big joe. I've had my big joe for 10 years and love it. You can't go wrong with a kamado joe.

Great product. I have had the Kamodo Joe for over 2 years. Highly recommend. This was my first smoker/grill. Took very little time to figure out the nuances of grilling/smoking.

Best grill ever. I got this grill at Christmas. I love that everything came with it and out of the box we are ready to cook. I hate having to buy something then get extra pieces to make it work. I have done long cooks hot cooks and in between cooks. I got the joetisseree and hands down the best prime rib make ever. Love this grill and I would love have a little one for my boat when I retire. My house will never be without a Joe.

Always makes great tasting food. I bought my Classic Joe in 2010. We liked to grill and I wanted better taste than what the gas grill provided. We get tenderloin steaks that are about 2 1/2 inches thick at the store. I learned I could get the grill as hot as 700 degrees and cook the steaks 3 minutes on each side then close it down and leave them in for 3 more minutes and they would come out perfectly seared outside and medium rare inside. I’ve had many compliments on them. My sons wanted them for their birthday every year so I bought them each a Classic Joe for Christmas 6 years ago. I’ve done pretty well with ribs and butts as well. We love our Kamado Joe and the flavor we get!

I love my joe the food taste great. I love that the fire is not close to the food and it's very economical because you can reuse the charcoal

Amazing. I went from a gas grill to a pellet grill, to my Kamado Joe Classic II. This grill is AMAZING. The food tastes so much better. The steaks and burgers are juicy and the sear amazing. I’ve made a pizza and have done a 12 hr smoke. It does take a little bit of practice to get the temps right, but once you do it is easy. I have a grill for life.

Great feature. I got as Christmas gift a basket, I made my first delicious wings. Excellent accessories

The best smoker ever! I’ve had this Kamado for 4 years and have cooked everything on it from pizza to brisket to pulled pork. This smoker has been used from pizza oven to grill to smoker. I always wanted a Kamado Joe and when I finally bought man it changed all of my food. Whichever Joe you have from classic 1 to a big Joe there’s no way you could be disappointed.

Nothing But The BEST. I have owned multiple smokers and nothing compares to my big Joe series 2. I personally enjoy the steps of firing this up with lump charcoal, and the amazing smells and taste of the meat that I smoke almost weekly. My neighbor and I had a cook-off one weekend as he owns a pellet smoker and after our taste testing, he sold it and bought his own big Joe as he said, it just didn’t compare to his. The Kamado Joe’s are the best on the market hands down!

Amazing cooking tool. Have had my Kamata Joe now for five years! Still looks like new! Have made countless items always spectacular

Great Grill. Bought a Series II a couple years ago - this was the single best purchase I made that year. I absolutely LOVE this grill and should anything happen to it, I will be buying a replacement ASAP!!! Before mastering this grill it was like I wasn't even really grilling.

Happy smoking, grilling and for sure eating! Love my classic Joe. It’s become an obsession. While a seasoned grilled the smoker is a new world for me. Loving it though and having a big crowd for Super Bowl. The Kamado itself is fantastic and trying out all the different techniques is a great way to whip up some yummy meals

So Versatile! The Kamado Joe Big Joe II is hands-down one of the most versatile and impressive outdoor cookers ever made. It’s not just a grill—it’s a complete outdoor cooking system. Whether I’m grilling steaks at screaming-hot temperatures, slow-smoking brisket for hours, baking pizzas with a perfectly crisp crust, or roasting vegetables and whole chickens, the Big Joe II handles it all flawlessly. Temperature control is incredibly precise and stable, making low-and-slow smoking just as easy as high-heat searing. The ceramic construction locks in heat and moisture, producing consistently juicy, flavorful results, while the massive cooking surface makes it perfect for feeding a crowd. The Divide & Conquer flexible cooking system is a game-changer, allowing multiple cooking styles at once—smoke ribs on one level while roasting sides on another. It’s built like a tank, performs like a pro, and replaces multiple grills, smokers, and ovens in one beautifully designed package. Big Joe® Grill – Series II. The Big Joe® Grill – Series II is an absolute powerhouse. Best investment. I was told buy a Green egg owner to buy a Joe. That was the best advice I was ever given. He wished someone told him.

Classic Joe II. Great grill. Very well made. Everything is done to make this grill work flawlessly for decades

Amazing. This is an amazing grill with incredible technology consisting of two vents. The ability to control the heat is absolutely ridiculous. Yes it takes time to learn, but once you figure it out it is AMAZING.

Excellent addition to my outdoor grilling arsenal. I bought this Big Joe 2 around Father's Day, and couldn't be happier with my decision. I had been wanting a kamado joe for years, and finally pulled the trigger. It's a great setup, and the value of the package far exceeds competitors. Lastly it's my favorite color!

Great Grill and Better Support. My grill came from Amazon and one of the shelves was damaged. Wrote Customer and sent pictures. Within a week they sent me a replacement. They listen to their customers. The Grill is fantastic and have a lot to learn

Best Grill Ever! Wasn’t sure if going a Weber Searwood or KJ Classic 2. Decided going with the latter and couldn’t be happier. Being able to do Low & Slow and also High & Fast is a dealbreaker for me

Best Ceramic Cooker! The Classic Joe 2 is a great and reliable cooker. Kamado Joe does a great job with total package and quality. Heavy duty and consistently accurate. Temp holds well and fuel efficient. All you need is passion/imagination and a sprinkle of patience for the best grill experience! #sponsoredproduct

My favorite grill/smoker. I have had my big joe for about 2 years now and have had no issuesat all. Everythingstillworks as it should. I use it a few times a week. You can literally do anything with this kamado. Its a beast.

Love this grill! I've had it for several months, and I Really like it! Excellent grilling experience!

I feel it has more features and quality over the e. Just bought this my wife been asking for one for 5 years I finally bought it. Her first cook was a brisket. It was awesome can’t wait to try something else

The best kamado grill. I've had this grill for years, absolutely love it, will never own a gas grill again.

Year Round Perfect Grilling/ Smoking. I originally purchased the KJ Classic 2 with hope of being able to continue grilling during our Chicagoland winters… it has since relegated my gas grill to vegetables and hotdogs for the youngsters of the extended family. By far the best, most used product (2-4 times per week) I have ever purchased! Not only would I recommend a Kamado Joe, i sold one at my local store ( I was simply grabbing some more Big Block charcoal) due to my enthusiasm while talking with another customer who was interested, but unsure.

innovative design. I absolutely love my Kamado Joe Grill. The build quality is top-notch, and it’s incredibly versatile. Whether I’m grilling, smoking, or baking, it delivers amazing results every time. Heat retention and temp control are spot-on, and the Divide & Conquer system is a game changer. Super easy to clean too. If you’re thinking about it—just get one. You won’t regret it.

This grill does it ALL ! I owned a Webber Summit S-670 for close to 10 years a grilled several days weekly all year around. Once I purchased the Kamado Joe Big Joe , I did not want to use the Summit grill. After 11 months I gave my Webber Summit to my son. I smoke all kinds of foods , reverse sear steaks cook burgers etc. This Kamado style grill is the best I have seen in my life. I just retired after 31 years in the food service industry so I know food and cooking methods. Don't let life slip by without trying Kamado Joe !

Stepped up our family grill game. Best purchase, even 3 years later. We got it to enhance some family favorites and get us outside more, but what we weren’t ready for is how this has challenged us all to learn and practice things outside our comfort zone. Whole chickens, ribs, even did a pizza night the kids. We love going outside 10x more and having so much fun. The way it holds its heat, maintains quality, and becomes a talking point at parties is just icing on the cake. More than a grill. 5 stars

First Smoker. This was a great purchase! After talking with the ACE Hardware gentlemen I went with this over the BG Egg because this is so much more for the price! Assembly is not terrible but do be careful! Temp control is very easy and ribs came out great!

Love my KJ. Love cooking on my KJ. It’s very versatile. Also I had to make a warranty claim and KJ was quick to respond and correct my issue. That means a lot and I’ll be a KJ fan for life.

Cooks great. I have had my Joe for a couple of years now. My family enjoys the taste of all the food that comes off of it. I have cooked whole chickens, ribs, and steaks.

Best overall smoker grill on the market. I've owned offset smokers, pellet grills, gas grills, charcoal grills, and cheaper kamados, but the Classic II is the best do-it-all smoker/grill I've owned. The charcoal efficiency, fire management, and temperature control are amazing. I spend as little time managing the cook as I did on my pellet grill with much better smoke flavor. The Classic II does a great job from burgers and steaks to low and slow briskets. I regret spending money on inferior products before buying the Kamado Joe.

I love the side shelves. I bought my big joe a while ago and i love it alot i use it 4-5 times a week. i cook everything on it my wife love the steaks

Big Joe Stud. My Big Joe is a game changer & the best cooking related purchase I’ve ever made by far. I’m turning out restaurant quality meals on the regular basis. It’s so versatile I’m smoking & grilling everything from ribs, brisket, salmon etc… Also the quality is 2nd to none I wouldn’t be surprised if lasts 20 years. Worth every penny!

Great Kamado. Great Service. I've done a few cooks on my new Kamado Joe and it's been great. Really love the quality of both the Kamado itself and the various grill grates and accessories. I ordered directly from the website and it came well packaged and in perfect shape. Great customer experience thus far.

Does Everything! I’ve wanted a Kamado Joe for a long time and I finally got one! I love it. It does everything and it’s fun to cook on. I’ve had it for just a few weeks now. I’ve made a standing rib roast, using the reverse sear method, a rotisserie chicken, pizzas on 2 different nights, and I slow cooked some country style ribs yesterday. I’m enjoying finding new things to cook on it. My wife loves everything that comes off it. My kettle grill, pellet grill, and outdoor pizza oven are starting to collect dust. I’ll keep them but I don’t think they’ll get much use.

Great smoker with consistent temps. I’ve had this grill for almost 5 years and it has worked incredibly well over the years. Just clean it once in a while and it maintains temperatures like no other grill. Incredibly efficient and maintains temps extremely well. Well worth the money. Quality is great. I honestly haven’t kept it covered and there are zero issues with it. No rusting.

Love this grill. I’ve had this grill for 2 years now and absolutely love it.

Love the Big Joe II. This was my second Kamado Joe grill. I love the size. It is perfect for grilling 64 wings in a rotisserie basket. I have also smoked a turkey and a ham at the same time in it. Excellent addition to my backyard cooking.

Classic Joe. We’ve had this for about 8 years and it still works great. It’s simple to use and makes the perfect meals. We live in the Midwest and use it all year long!

Awesome grill!! I purchased the kamado joe classic 2 three years ago and i absolutely love it. Its fantastic for all the different methods i use.

Big Joe II - all-in-one gamechanger. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase of the Big Joe II. I use it for everything - grill, smoker, baking- and my friends and family get to enjoy the benefits! I love the versatility and consistent temperature no matter what I’m cooking. I heavily researched Kamado Joe vs BGE and found the thickness of the ceramic as well as the dome lift system to be the difference makers over BGE. I love the ease of cooking with charcoal and could not be happier with my purchase.

Simply amazing. I bought this equipment with many expectations and they were definitely exceeded.

Great product. Amazing grill with all the accessories 100% recommended

Temp Control Is Awesome! I continue to be amazed by the way this grill holds it temp. I love to do pork shoulders, and my Kamado Joe makes it so easy to cook for hours at the consistent proper temperature. I also cook a fair amount of ribs and steaks, and my Kamado excels there too. Overall, just a great product that I continue to rave about to friends and family. Thanks for all you do!

Kamado Joe Classic makes food taste delicious! My grill is now four years old. It still works like new. I have a big order of meat coming from Riverbend. I can't wait to cook those steaks on my Joe.
