Must have! So simple and it works great! I used to use a normal 12oz can but was already afraid it would tip over. This has a flared based and stands up strong. Makes a great bird and super easy to clean up.

Excited for this Kamado Joe chicken holder. First thing out the box, you can feel the quality, solid ceramic, clean finish, and that classic Kamado Joe logo sitting right on the front. It’s got some good weight to it, doesn’t feel cheap at all and the vent holes around the top are a nice touch for even heat flow. I like how wide the base is too, looks like it’s going to sit steady on the grates and hold everything in place without wobbling around. The reservoir looks deep enough to load up with beer, broth, or whatever flavor combo I’m running that day and let that steam work through the bird. Overall I’m impressed straight out the box, simple design, but built right. I’m definitely excited to throw this on the grill and see how it performs on an upcoming cook. I already know it’s about to level up my chicken game, crispy skin, juicy inside and that Kamado Joe heat doing what it does best.

You need this Chicken Stand! The Ceramic Chicken Stand is so great. I have found that it's a much sturdier base than a beer or soda can. You can also fill it with other ingredients, such as chicken broth or spices. Overall, this is a fantastic way to cook chicken on your Kamado Joe.

Versatile. Im loving my new chicken "beer can" accessory. I love this because you can use any liquid you want and the chicken stands up perfectly. If you want to use a fruit juice instead of beer you can. The chicken stands up perfectly getting perfect all around air flow. The breasts were done at the same time as the breasts. 10/10.

Perfect accessory for a juicy bird! I used it last weekend with my Joe Jr. I poured beer in the ceramic stand, and placed it in an iron skillet, roasting a 5 lb chicken surrounded by small red and white potatoes. The stand was sturdy, and I had no trouble washing afterward, with final cleaning in a dishwasher. The chicken was so juicy, including the white meat. Looking forward to roasting a 7 lb turkey next.
