Char-Griller Pro Deluxe

High hopes dashed. I was quite excited to get this grill put together & get to grilling. Unfortunately I now don't have high hopes that grilling is going to go well at all. Bottom grill body is apparently warped. Difficult time getting hex bolts inserted & corresponding hex nuts attached. Finally managed to do so. Alas, upon getting the top grill hood attached, there are sizable gaps on the non damper side and along the back side as well. This would seem to me that it's going to be difficult to maintain temperatures.

Best. Grill. Period. Excellent product. Well made, durable, easy to use. I live in Florida and grill just about every weekend. This is my third Char Griller grill and I love it. I tried another brand that looked similar but wasn’t. It was made out of metal that was too thin and never held the heat right. I got rid of it while it still looked almost brand new and ordered my Char Griller. Very happy with it, I won’t be trying any other brand grill again.

I have my grill since 2005 and it is still smokin' !

Boy I’ll tell ya what this is a good grill. I got this grill about 9 years ago it’s starting to show its age but still works fine and dandy this was my first grill I bought this grill after I had gotten married and have used it at a lot of get togethers definitely would recommend this grill

Great grill good luck. I’ve had a few and they have been great. But assembly of the new one is worse than ikea.

Simple set up, cooks good. I bought mine a couple of years ago, and it has been great for my first grill.

My favorite charcoal grill. By far, my favorite charcoal grill… I just purchased my third one in 25 years. Extremely versatile and a great value for the money! I’ve always said, even if I win the lottery, I will still only grill with charcoal… And you can bet it will be a Char-Griller!

Good grill. Have had this for approximately 6 years. Great grill holds up will except for the ash tray expect to purchase a new pan every 2-3 years

Pro Deluxe Grill. No problems, assembly was easy and grill works great.

Nice. Great smoker I need to write a lot to use up required space

Great grill. I have had this for over 15 years and enjoyed it very much

Great Product. Lasted 19 years!!! Bought one in 2005, it was on sale at Home Depot. It ladted until 2024 whet rusted. You can't ask gor better than that! 19 years!! Smoked plenty of large turkeys for the holiday table.

Pro deluxe grill. I have had this grill for 20+ years, and it's still as good as it was the day I brought it home. Lots of great memories, and looking forward to making more! I added the side firebox, which works great too.

Beats a Weber kettle style. I prefer these over the Weber kettle style due to the adjustable charcoal grate hangers.

Great grill. I added a fire box, works wonderfully. Great for smoking.

Size of grill is great! I have had this grill for many years, I keep it covered when not in use, and it is still going strong.

awesome grill. my husband has had this one awhile now and loves loves it, i replaced all the inside parts because he loves it so much he didnt want to replace it

Go to grill!! I use this grill all year round and love it! I don’t have anything negative to say!

Quality Products. I couldn’t even tell you how old my old girl is. She has had more new parts than some people I know. She has lost most of her color but I won’t replace her for a newer model. This model keeps temperature even and the racks allow for different foods to be cooked at multiple times.

Barrel grill. Char, griller, pro deluxe barrel grill pretty awesome does what I needed to do

Best grill! Me and family have had 3 of these in the past 20 years we have 2 still. Just used one Friday night overall the best grill in my opinion I’ve done various family bbqs with just one of these bad boys. With two of these man you could feed a block party! I’m 25 and started grilling @11 with our 2nd one and haven’t grilled on another grill since! Planning on getting the competition pro soon!

Great. For the price its tough to beat this grill! There is a reason this model has been a staple for so long.

Love this grill. This is the second one I have owned. The first one finally rusted out. Love the cooking area and the side table with hooks. I use mine year round!

Real BBQ. We enjoy the smoky flavor that we get in our food. We had a gas one but gave it away and got our charcoal one. Have gotten the side box and have had great success with our smoking of food. if you are a traditional big person, I highly recommend this grill and don’t forget to get the side burn box for your grill.

Cooks very well the taste great on it. Been cooking on it for two years and same great out come great grill

Amazing cooking. Have had my grill for years and absolutely love it. If a part breaks, replacement parts are readily available through the website.

Eight years and counting. I continue to be happy with the performance of this grill. The cooking grates hold up perfectly. Ash pan is a wear item that is inexpensive to replace - 2nd time I’ve needed to swap it out over 8 years of cooking at least twice a weekend, April through October. Great results with a charcoal chimney full of hardwood lump charcoal on steak, chicken, burgers, brats, corn on the cob, veggies, you name it. Stands up to the weather in the northern winters with its coated steel construction. Highly recommended.

Great! This is a great grill. Makes the food taste great.

Go to grill! Bought this cause my pellet grill broke, this is my go to grill! I’ve since got another pellet grill for Xmas, it broke with in 2 month, you know what never breaks, the char-griller, always works. Best charcoal grill!

Worth the money. I bought this grill as a gift for my boyfriend and it paid for itself the 1st month

SOLID!! I have had this grill for MANY years and it has been a great experience! We use it year round and have found it easy to use and clean. We use the side smoker box for turkeys and ribs, and the charcoal side for all other items (burgers, chicken, vegetables, etc.). Many friends have remarked that they have replaced their own grills during the time that we have had this one, but we have had no issues. We keep it covered with the Char-Griller cover when not in use, and I am sure this has been a key factor in the longevity of the grill. We purchased this grill when my son was in college so he could use it when his friends were visiting our home to enjoy the hot tub on the deck. He has been out of school for several years, and the grill is still going strong!! We highly recommend this product!!

Smoking. I have had char-grilled from day over 10+ years love the way it cook low and slow. Doesn’t need you use a bag of charcoal. Smoking ribs is my favorite

Best Grill Ever. I brought this grill with fire starter box & this is the Best Grill I have ever bought & good for the price.

Great size. Large area for handling large meats for smoking or large parties

Awesome Grill. I bought this grill about 5 years ago and I love how evenly it cooks. I’ve never had a problem, will purchase all of my future grills and accessories from this company!!!

Tasty. The flavor that is created from the grill is out standing, this our 2nd we moved our first one to the cabin

Nothing but the best. I get nothing but Char Griller grills. Unfortunately, my first one took a hit but I had it for years. I replaced it with the recent one I purchased. You will never see me purchase any other grill maker. I'm not at home to take pictures of my grill. Just visit Char Griller to view the Pro Delux Charcoal Grill.

Timeless. I've had my grill for 15 years and as I take care of it; it continues to take care of me! This grill has become a timeless addition to my home.

Easy to use Great grill. It was my First grill , Its Great , i have 7 years with it , and dont have any problem

Deluxe pro. This was the 1st grill I own it was a good entry level grill for me enjoyed cooking on that grill

Great grill cooked on iy for years. Got this grill at a furniture store with purchase of some furniture used it so much had to buy another charcoal pan love it

Hot Mess! I’ve had my grill for 3 years. I’ve used it so much I’ve had to replace the grills, pan in bottom and wood on front. It’s the BEST!

Good all around grill. Use this grill to cook steaks, chicken, fish, burgers, and ribs and it does a great job on all of them.

Great Product. I have used one of these charcoal grills at work and was a good grill would definitely recommend it if you were in the need for one great product all around

Cooks great. Easy set up of direct and indirect heat. Heats up fast

Love my Grill. I added the small side grill to the deluxe grill for a complete smoker. Love my grill. I’ve had it for over 10 years and still in tip top shape. Whenever I want to just make a small meal, the small grill comes in handy. It also helps when I have a large bbq so that I can make additional things at the same time. The ease of removing the grill plates to add coal and wood makes it ideal and easier to maneuver.

Great grill, especially for the price. This was the first charcoal grill that I have ever purchased and used. It stuck out to me because of its price. It was cheaper than a lot of the other brands. But it has been a great grill for me and my family to use.

Fantastic long-term grill. I purchased this grill ( or it's predecessor - it's essentially the same grill) in 2005. I've taken good care of it, so it's still rocking out the good food! I love the cast iron grates - they make the best grill marks ever. I would buy again. I usually only use it for hot/fast grilling because Char-Griller is so good, I bought an Akorn as well to do my smoking.

Lasts a lifetime. I've had my grill for a few years now and what I like about it is not only does it perform well but as parts wear out, I can easily get replacements. Inexpensive and first class service! Thank you Char-griller for a well made product!

Very Nice Charcoal Griller. Ive had 2 barrel charcoal grills....and this pro charcoal grill is very nice....i like the adjustable heights of the charcoal...and its easier to clean

Grill. Purchased some time pre covid and it is still holding on strong. I use it year round.

15 yr old. Had grill for over 15 yrs only had to replace fire tray

A Part of the Family. I've had my Pro Deluxe for over 15 years. I added an offset to it and have had that for almost 14 years. I have grilled, slo-cooked, steamed and smoked anything you can imagine. I've passed on "upgrading" my Pro Deluxe because I've never needed to. Anything I want to do my Pro Deluxe is capable of doing.

Fantastic all around grill. This has been a staple in my backyard for years. It has served me well and with the optional add-on firebox works well as a smoker too. I have done many successful cookouts with high praise with this unit.

Great Grill! I got this grill as a birthday present last March and I’ve cooked some of the best food I’ve ever cooked. I like that there’s a big enough cooking area to have a hot and cold zone!

Best. On my. Second one now, best grill for the money ever

Excellent grill and smoker. I got this grill as a gift and then I purchased the side fire box to make it a smoker. I have thoroughly enjoyed this smoker as well as all of my friends and family have enjoyed it as well. This smoker has stood the test of time (about six years) and has done well in holding temperatures while cooking my proteins. The grill was extremely budget friendly and because it has lasted so long it has been an excellent value for me. My briskets have been well received by several of my friends that have other very expensive smokers and they were extremely surprised when I show them my humble but mighty Chargriller. I remind them rhat it does not have to be expensive or large to turn out great smoke meat.

Great Grill. Had mine for over 20 years and a tornado threw it across my driveway years ago.. Still using it . Tough grill😎 Christopher Martin

Solid performer. Needed a quality grill. The pro deluxe had all the features I wanted and a solid build quality. I enjoy the form factor and the fact I can add the offset smoker if I want. My only gripe is the metal lid handle. It can get a little warm.

Love it. I got this for my birthday and grill with it all the time

Love this grill. Husband impressed. Purchased recently and grilling is at a whole new level. Awesome taste

Built to last. Been having this product for at least 8 years and added the offset barrel smoker to it about 2 years ago. I am very pleased with the design and how well it is holding up. The only thing I recently replaced was the charcoal pan in the main pit area.

Great grill!! Love this grill! Heats up quickly and evenly and holds heat for an amazing amount of time

Solid and dependable. I’ve been using these grills for 17 years. They are hard to beat for overall value and ease of use. You can control the airflow and temp easily. The cast iron grates require care - but it’s well worth the effort. Definitely recommend for everyone.

Great grill! I have 3 of these and they are the best grills I’ve ever owned! Efficient, easy to care for and the best results I’ve ever had!

wonderful. Flipped over charcoal grates to use as a smoker, works great with outside fire box.

Great grill. This is actually my second Pro Deluxe (moved and couldn’t bring it with me) and a great grill for big parties and/or offset smoking.

Excellent grill! I've had my grill for about 6 years now. While it is now ready to be replaced, it has been an excellent grill. We went on vacation and the cabin had a charcoal grill. My family loved the food I cooked on it and so I bought this Char-Griller as soon as I got home.

Grill master. I love my grill it cooks very well and the price was right for the quality

Only grill I'll ever own. I've had 3 Chargrillers and have never thought of trying another brand.

Great Grill. I on my 4th grill. There is almost nothing I can’t do with this grill.

Best Grill I've owned! I have had his grill for about 2 years now and it never ceases to amaze me how well everything comes out.

Great item. I have had mine for a while, still do miracle's with the food I cook on it.

Excellent grill. I bought this a few months ago and this is an amazing grill it has the perfect grill temperature

Great grill/smoker. I added the offset smoker grill to this and a rotisserie motor. Been cooking/smoking butts, chickens, even turkeys with great results and raves from family.

Built solid. The best grill I’ve ever owned. I’ve had it for over 5 years.

Outstanding product. I purchased my grill about 5 years ago, and I have to say it is still kicking only had to change the grill grates once & cover, but it still gives me good performance. It was an exceptable value for the purchase.

One awesome grill ! I was out riding my Harley Davidson one day and seen iit on the curb for trash so I went home and got my f150 pick up truck and went back and got it. It works great. I love this grill !

Great Construction, very durable. I currently am using my third Char Griller. I bought my first one 40 years ago. I love this grill.

Awesome!!! It's everything that I need in a Grill and more. What a buy!!!

Great grill yo have. Bought this gill about 5 years ago and still looks great. Easy to maintain and produces and keeps heat well.

Well built. I’ve owned my Pro-Deluxe for about 10 years. I use it at least once a week all year round. It has held up great. I use it for both smoking and grilling. I highly recommend it.

LOVE IT! My mom bought this grill for me 7yrs ago. I’m on my 2nd set of grates, charcoal tray and wood slats. I use it as often as I can.

Works great and has held up nicely. Cooks even and holds heat

What more do ya need?! I’ve only owned two o’ these … in 30 years! High quality; grills & smokes with the best of ‘em!

Still going strong 5-years later! I purchased my Pro-Deluxe about 5-years ago. The first season I used it as a typical charcoal grill, and I must admit that I roached the paint because I didn't read the manual, had no idea what I was doing, and hadn't learned the importance of using a chimney, or how to properly season a grill. Every spring I would clean it out and repaint it, then last summer I started doing a lot of research into smoking (after adding the optional sidebox). I now use it exclusively as an offset smoker and it is still in great shape. Take the time to learn how to take care of your grill and you will get years out of it.

Greatest grill ever. I purchased this grill about 6 weeks ago. I’ve not used a charcoal grill in years. (Only my smoker grill). Now I am using the charcoal grilled nightly. I’ve also purchased char griller wood chips and I am smoking food with a professional flavor. Best grill I have ever owned

Best barrel smoker. I have this thing going on 14 years and it is so well seasoned I have cooked almost everything on this smoker all except a whole pig

Awesome bbq pit. Very good product for your quick cookouts and easy to use

Great value. I've had mine now for over 5 years and I cook on it at least twice a week it's never let me down the only thing I had to do was at a lid sealer. But that was my fault not the products, I've had Char grilled before and I'll continue to buy them. Great price point and great value with a lifetime of grilling enjoyment out of them.

Made to last. I hope these stay on the market a long time to come! I am on my 2nd one after 15 years and would maybe be on the first if I had known about the replacement parts earlier. The capacity and safety of this grill is second to none and also easy cleaning. I have never had a cover for this grill and yet it lasts this long through Minnesota winters. Great grill!!!

It's the best BBQ I have used. I have talked to other people in to buying.

Great grill with plenty of space. This grill is great big size spacious an a good smoker as well

Grill & Rotisserie. I replaced a round Weber grill with the Char-Griller drum grill 20 years ago and it still providing great results. The cast iron grates are great and currently on the second ash tray. Using the rotisserie for grilling a duck works great.

The Pro Deluxe fits my need perfectly. I've had two Char Griller Pro Deluxe models and they fit my needs. A big plus is parts and covers are available and shipping is fast.

iv love this grill. iv had this one for 8 years keep it out side on the patio and it is still going good

Great grill. I've had this grill for about 12 years and use it constantly. Great grill and plenty of room for anything your looking to cook!!!

Great all around grill. This grill has withstood years and years of use with minimal maintenance and great even cooking with charcoal flavor. Highly recommended for overall value

pretty good grill. I upgraded tot his over the classic round grill years ago. This has gotten me through ever summer grill weekend I have had for many years. Even had a good experience reaching out for replacement grills afre I rusted mine by mistake.

I love this grill! Have two and love them! I just bought one for my second home. About to put it together nw!
