Char-Griller Dual-Fuel Pro™ 3-Burner Gas and Charcoal Grill and Smoker

Chillin & Grillin. I purchased this grill about 1 year ago to replace my old Brinkman dual fuel grill that lasted me over 15 years grillling year round everything from pizza to meatloaf. I loved that old grill and searched for a very long time before finding this Char-Griller dual fuel grill. This Char-Griller is much better quality materials and construction than my old Brinkman and was a breeze to assemble. Very happy after a year of using this grill. I would recommend this grill.

Appealing. After finally assembling this product. It looked great but the coating is easily to become scratched installing the lids. Ignition comes per assembled and it has caused a lot of stress not igniting properly evethough I have a gas flow with fumes. I was wondering why the Ignition came per assembling but not according to installing instructions?

Best grill. I got this grill about 1 1/2 ago, this grill is still going strong!

4 yrs and going strong. I bought my dual chargrilled 4 yrs ago. I have done many burgers, 4 or 5 briskets. 3 jr high graduations, 2 high school graduations, countless birthday parties, any reason possible. Last grand son next year, can’t wait to see how it holds up. So far no disappointments

Great flexibility. Propane side works great for the "quick cooks" - heats up quickly and has good variability with the gas setting. Charcoal has worked well with a variety of commercially available charcoal. Smoking takes a little practice in heat regulation, but overall very pleased with the grilling.

Great Smoker. I bought this for versatility but has become my favorite grille ever. I smoke traditional pork BBQ on this all the time. Very good temp control and smokes the meat perfectly.

You Want Options! You Got it! I bought this Dual-Fuel Grill about 20 years ago. BEST GRILL I EVER OWNED! We cook outside allot and most of the family enjoys the quick ease of gas. I enjoy the charcoal and smoking options. In every case, this grill is Awesome. With reasonable care and maintenance, this grill consistently proves, you don't have to spend a fortune for a quality, flexible setup. Char-Griller makes finding replacement parts easy and they are reasonably priced. My old grills (which there were many) would degrade and replacement parts made it easier to just buy a new cheap grill. I finally invested in my Char-Griller grill, which is solid and has provided me with years of successful big family BBQs. The gas side is for quick and easy 'general' cooking. The charcoal with offset smoker is my baby. It's where a true griller can take the time to make grilling magic happen. I know my Char-Griller grill has many more years of performance in it. I'm going to enjoy every minute. If you are looking for cooking option, the dual-fuel with offset smoker is the grill for you. Yummy!

Extremely happy customer and repeat purchaser. I live in Florida and purchased my first dual fuel grill a 5650 about eight years ago. Living in Florida grill was used year-round always performed other than a few minor repairs overtime. Would still have it if hurricane Ian hadn’t come through and taken everything. First thing I replaced was the grill even before the house. Purchased my second door fuel grill don’t recall the model three burner gas with charcoal side-by-side. The performance on these grills are awesome. Nothing beats the flavor of charcoal or the convenience of gas. Grills are easy to assemble. Extremely durable and parts are easy to get five out of five stars.

Great features as a dual fuel. I bought one of the original dual fuel grills over 2 years ago. I love the propane or charcoal uses. I have also smoked brisket, salmon in it and they have turned out delicious. I recommend dual fuel grills.

Nice Grill. I bought this grill a year ago, and love it so far. The gas side is great for chicken, sausages, veggies, etc. And the smoker side is great for slow cooking on the weekends. I also purchased the side draft box and the fitted cover, which I highly recommend. I seasoned it well before using it and so far seams to be holding up.

Used weekly for 7 years. I've used this for the last 7 years, about once a week. I default to charcoal but if in a crunch or need a quick grill the propane side is great.

Enjoy both charcoal and gas combo. had one before so had to get another. Best grill I've ever owned

Instructions missing in box and online. Got my dual fuel pro home from Walmart to find no instructions for assembly. Spent hours looking for o ne. No dice. So I put my chargriller under a steam roller. You can't even call char griller to ask. Don't waste your time with this company. So angry I can't see straight. This is my 3rd one. Won't ever buy another.

Great all in one grill/smoker. Been using mine for over 2 years now. Comes in handy for my large get togethers with the duel charcoal/gas grills and the capabilities to convert to a smoker. I highly recommend

Ten years. I have had this grill for ten years and we love it. I t is finally showing its age and we planning getting a new within the next year. Never have had a greater experience as we have at with this grill and I recommend everyone to get one

A great pal for the back yard. When I heard about a grill that had both gas and charcoal I couldn't believe it. I went to Lowes in short fashion and there it was. That was SWEET! It was kept out in the weather and lasted 6 or 8 years when th bellies burnt through. At some point I put a fire box on the side and that is when my love for it blossomed!When I took the grills off the frame, I turned that heavy duty frame into my my firewood stand. It still is holding my firewood after about 12 years. More to come about my next - off set smoker

duel fuel is the best of both worlds. this is my second char-grilled for me and i couldn’t be more satisfied .

Awesome Grill. What an amazing grill. Easy assembly and great results. The gas side comes up to temp quick and will hold temp perfectly for searing or getting a meal done in short order. The charcoal side is just right for that slower cook time or that awesome flavor that only lump charcoal can deliver. I added on the side fire box, so now I can offset smoke to perfection. Great job Char-Griller!

I’ve liked mine. I’ve had mine since January. I’ve had a ball with it. I smoked chocolate chip cookies and jalapeno peppers over charcoal. I’ve done lots of cured salted meats on the gas side. I’ve enjoyed mine. Would recommend.

The ultimate! I owned a few grills in my time… And I have to say the combination of a traditional smoker married to a gas grill has been the perfect set up for my backyard cooking. I love the versatility of this grill.

Dual fuel cooker. I bought this grill a couple years ago. I like the grill but my only complaint is that the propane gas burners rust out fast as do the shield over the burner. The replacement burners are expensive. They should be made of a better material that won’t rust out so fast

Probably the best grill for the money I have ever. I bought my Texas Trio 4 years ago and I did just replace the gas burner heat shields but they were a perfect replacement and repairing my grill was the best decision because it cooks so well.

Love my Chargriller. We bought our grill about 6 years ago and it still is great. There’s gas, charcoal and 3rd burner, cooking up everything. It cooks perfectly every time, really enjoy using it.

Combo smoker/grill. I've had this grill for 14 yrs. I have great foods on the grates,never a complaint from anyone. It is now come time to replace for a smaller cooker as I don't use as much and Age dictates to downsize. Char Grill will be my first choice.

Longhorn smoker and grill. I bought this 5 years ago, i smoke and grill 3 to 4 times a week, it's the best of all worlds, and so much fun.

Excellent Grill! I received this grill from my fiancé for Father’s Day this year. I love the dual purpose gas/charcoal combination. I’m still getting used to grilling on the gas side. I have to use a much lower setting on this grill to achieve the same results as far as the temperature setting goes. Overall, I really love this grill!

Awesome grill. I bought this grill a couple weeks ago & I absolutely love it! My only complaint about it is that it needs wheels on all four legs. It’s very heavy & difficult to move, especially with the optional smoker attached.

Expectations Met. Finished seasoning the grills and did my first full grilled meal. Perfect. Found the gauges to be spot on and heating was even and consistent. Only issue i am having is finding the correct grill cover. Model number doesn't match anything I am seeing. Still happy.

Perfect timing! I couldn’t have came across this duel fuel grill at a better time. My wife asked for a gas grill so she could start grilling some meats. I saw this grill and thought this is the perfect his/her combo for us to have in our backyard. I’ve always loved Char-Griller, when I saw this, I had to add it to my collection. Dynamic Duo! Double the fun, double the versatility! This grill gives you a generous amount of cooking space on both the propane and charcoal sides, and I love being able to run two different temps at a time. The ability to attach a firebox to the charcoal side of the grill is next level! I love being able to cook a variety of things at one time, and this makes doing just that a breeze. Duel fuel = Many possibilities. Love this setup. I received this product in exchange for an honest review. It was really easy to put together and my first cook was skirt steak with potatoes .  I haven’t used a gas grill before so this wis an interesting change. The ability to add smoke and is the gas side to grill and sear is really cool. I was really pleased with how things turned out .

Best of both world's! Propane on one side and charcoal on the other. Has a spot for a fire side box for slow smoking. Absolutely love this grill! Going to use it for a love of reverse searing! With everything being so expensive now a days this gives you so much bang for your buck! Highly recommend.

Excellent price point that does it all! I received this grill for my honest review. I love the fact that this grill gives the best of both worlds. You can cook low and slow with charcoal and wood on one side and propane for a quick cook on the other side. If I want to smoke a pork butt that is going to take all day but I am hungry, I can flip the propane on and make burgers at the same time. With over 100sq inches of cooking space and very well built design the duel fuel pro is the choice to go with. With it weighing a little more that 100 pounds its light enough to move around but built well enough to withstand the elements! Do not pass up on the opportunity to pick this up.

Great First Impression! I received this product in return for my honest review. So... I will give an honest review, but for now... just my preliminary review as I have only just finished my first cook on it. More to come! I just finish my first cook (Sloppy Joe) on this grill and I must say I am quite impressed. I will absolutely do more like it. I Love This Grill! Assembly was pretty easy. I'm a little older and don't move as fast as I used to, but it still only took me a few hours to build this grill.. . I only needed a little help from my wife when i was installing the grill lids. I will follow up with a more educated review after a few more cooks , bur so far... So Good!
