Nice griddle! I have had this griddle for about 3 years. Holds up and cooks well. I would buy another Char Griller if I needed to.

That Looks Good To Me. I’ve had my four burner flat iron griddle for four years. It draws a crowd when I’m cooking on it, not only for the food that is being cooked but for the well designed griddle itself. Breakfast cooked on the griddle is great as well as lunch and dinner. The delicious smell of bacon, smash burgers and shrimp fried rice fill the air and always gets passers by to stop and admire the flat iron.

Excellent flat top grill. We have been using this flat top grill for years, its great! Very easy to use and has held up well. Definitely recommend!

Bad Burners. I bought this grill 2 years ago I've only used it 7 times and had to replace the burners

A key to every backyard. Having a personal griddle, just makes you feel like you’re your own top not Chef and with the essentials you feel like you’re an instant expert. I know I do being able to make breakfast for my three boys or the family of five. The griddle makes it light work hibachi comes together so quickly and all the meals you can think of is just made simply easier by having a griddle and being outside makes it an extra plus.

Seems cheap. I have had my griddle for almost 2 years. I spend more time working on it than I do cooking. The regulator is very sensitive. It always acts like it's low on gas even with a new tank.

Great Build! Very Solid! Been loving the Flat Iron Premium Gas Griddle lately. It heats up fast, cooks super evenly, and handles everything from smashburgers to breakfast without breaking a sweat. Was Great the first time out. I just purchased this item a month ago and was dying to try it out. after seasoning it like 5 or 6 times. was my first test of it. I started cooking on it with Hamburgers first. I think i had it on high and the surface was to hot. the first time i tried to flip them some of them stuck a little. so i turned down to med heat. It went well from there. they turned out great. I've always had a charcoal grill because of the taste. but with my seasonings on the meat they turned out great after all. everyone was happy. This is only the start of something good i see. cooking almost anything is possible with ease. I'm very pleased to make this investment. cant wait to cook on it again. clean up was easy also.

Flat Iron. The flat iron griddle is my go to for all my grilling. Since purchasing this 5 years ago I have grilled everything on it from breakfast to dinner. My wife loves it when I especially do the bacon on it. I have literally cut out using our oven a lot and use the Char Griddle for just about everything.

Great grill for large cooks. This grill is perfect for doing large amounts of food. I use this grill multiple times a year to cook for 400+ people at a time. The heat is even and cooks well.

Great griddle in every way. Bought mine a couple of years ago and absolutely love everything about it. No issues whatsoever and use it every chance it can. No regrets at all. Love the grease catch in the front, the wind guards and the lid. They make a huge difference.

Wheels suck. I love everything about this cook top except for the wheels and how they attach to the stand. The metal they used for the bottom is too flimsy and not reinforced enough. I ended up making my own stand out of wood with different wheels and now it works better than ever.

Great Cook Top! I bought my 4 burner griddle during covid fully assembled from our Kroger. I has performed flawlessly and can easily cook the best hibachi steak, chicken, shrimp and fried rice that you could ever eat!

Love My Griddle. I have had my 4 burner griddle for a year now and it remains my favorite outdoor cooking device. It is so versatile that I can make everything fun full brunch to hibachi supper and please everyone. I cook on it as often as I can. I have severance outdoor implements but my flat top is the one I would not want to go without.

4 burner griddle. So far it's worked flawlessly and I've enjoyed it. The top cover was my only issue, it's thin and didn't have a proper fit right out of the box. It was bent and wouldn't fit over the griddle. Overall so far a great product.

Cook for a few or for a party! Love the size so I can cook multiple items at once such as bacon, sausage, and hash potatoes for several people. Cook with hotter and cooler zones so it’s all done at the same time! The flat top flavorizes well.

Great features. I bought this a month ago and find it to be better the the over priced over hyped Blackstone. It is a quality product.

Piece of JUNK - Buy a Blackstone Instead. I bought my Flat Iron 4 burner griddle in the fall of 2022. After the 3rd use, flames shot out the front of burners 3 and 4, charred and burned up the ignitor cables. I had to wait 4 months for backordered replacement ignitors. I was told by customer service it was because my burner tubes must have been clogged, even though the griddle was brand new. I had to disassemble the entire front and top to replace the two ignitors once they did arrive. I also checked all of the burner tubes - no clogs and no issues. I replaced the ignitors and got to use the griddle 1 more time before storing for the season. In the late spring of 2023 I went back to the griddle and attempted to use it, only to find that it would not ignite. I again disassembled the entire front and top to access the ignitors and tubes - only 2 ignitors would spark. I ordered some replacement ignitors from Amazon. I again got to use the griddle, 5 times before once again, flames shot out the front of the unit on burners 3 and 4. I shoved the griddle into my garage to deal with another day. 2024 late spring, I attempted once again to fix this griddle. I still had a couple of replacement ignitors from my 2022 issue, so I replaced the burned out ignitors on 3 and 4, only to find that the ignitors would not spark at all. I purchased a replacement ignitor box, 3 and 4 ignitors still would not spark. I reached out to Char Griller customer service only to be told that replacement ign

LOVE IT 10/10. I bought it at the beginning of July and it is now the beginning of September, I absolutely love the griddle I have 0 complaints , since I bought the griddle I haven’t cooked inside once literally. Its great because I can cook everything at once, & you don’t have to clean a bunch of pans !

Love the Grill But still learning. I got it put together this Labor Day weekend, got it seasoned, and tried some fajita tacos. It was fairly easy to assemble. I’m really new to the griddle, but it’s fun trying something new.

Great Quality. I Love this griddle! I bought it at Menards about a year ago. I was trying to decide between the Flat Iron 36 or one of the other brands, when the salesman pointed out that the flat Iron would fit my 6'3" height better because it was taller. I am glad I listened. The only thing I could say negative is that it doesn't heat evenly. The middle is always hotter regardless of the settings. Highly recommend!!!

It has several features that made if an easy decision when comparing it against other brands. Wonderful Griddle. I bought this griddle for my boyfriend and he loves it! It’s a perfect size. It cooks the food evenly and he loves the portability of the grill. I love char-griller because of the quality of the grills. They are excellent quality and are made to last.

Failed dangerously. Great while it worked, today flames were coming out of the front of the griddle and I turned the burners and gas off and the fire continued. Pulled the igniter and battery out to find the igniter casing was melted and all the wires fell from it. Couldnt get the fire to stop burning. So disappointed. Used occasionally.

Terrible Flat Top Grill. I bought one a little over a month ago & after 1 use, one of the burners shoots flames out of the front of the griddle. In addition, the shelf doesn't fit correctly. This was a complete and total disaster.. Should have purchased a Blackstone. Never again!!!

Safety concern. I have only used this griddle a couple of times over the last year and keep it covered when not in use.  The burners are like new.  Yesterday, I was in the process of warming it up to prepare for cooking.  I noticed smoke coming from the front panel area so I turned off all the burners. The smoke continued and I realized something was on fire.  It took some time to put the fire out.  Once it cooled down, I removed the screws holding the front panel in order to see what happened.  The igniter control and wires were burnt to the point of now needing to be replaced.   This appears to be a real safety issue as I see other reviews with the same problem.  Is Char-Griller going to do something about this before someone gets really hurt or this turns into a larger fire causing real property damage?  I was looking for replacement parts (which I'm not seeing available), but now after seeing that other people are having the same safety issues, I may throw it out, unless Char-Griller has come up with a solution.

Best purchase ever. I love how quick this heats up and it's crazy how fast everything cooks on it. even frozen burgers cook in 7 mins and are perfectly juicy and tasty. It's a cinch to clean and I doubt I'll ever use a regular grille again.

Best grilling investment ever made! I purchased this griddle after doing extensive research comparing all brands on the market of similar size and features. This griddle had the best features that others did not, like the ability to turn on any burner in any sequence desired. No other griddle offered that option. It's ease of assembly, use, clean up and complete perfection of performance during cooking made this purchase easily one of the wisest choices made in my life. There is nothing that cannot be prepared on this griddle period, and cleanup up is super easy. Why dirty the entire kitchen when you can cook an entire meal for even a large family on one cooker. It's a no brainer. I recommend this griddle to the world.

Solid griddle with excellent grease system. Had a 36" blackstone which was fine but the front grease trough was sloppy. Newer models with rear grease still exposed grease tray to rain. Evaluated the Members Mark but center grease system a bit awkward and too many reviews of warping. Grease system in front corner and it is covered when lid is closed. Char griller had all the features I wanted at a good price point. Very happy with construction. The lined top is well designed. Front tray very handy as well. The griddle seasoned beautifully and heats evenly. I could not find one on display anywhere, bought it online sight unseen at Home Depot. Very happy with purchase.

Sweet Flat Top Easy Set-up. Owned this for 2-3 years now, I love it. Plenty of room for cooking and resting. Bigger then some restaurant's Flat tops. Wish it was easier to move around.

Great for cooking. I actually use this one at work because they had one. It was easy to set up and cook on. Loved all the features and the flat surface of the griddle. Distributing the heat on each burner was easy and did not over cook. Great product. Will definitely get me one when I am able.

AWSOME GRIDDLE!! This 4-burner griddle I have is AWSOME! Each burner has nearly infinite control with the control having 180 degrees of adjustment. It also has an enclosed bottom keeping the wind from blowing out the burners as well as keeping heat under the griddle not allowing it to escape from below. I use this griddle 6 or mores days per week and many days I use it for 2 or 3 meals. I have had a lot of enjoyment and have prepared some pretty awesome food on this griddle. It is easy to keep clean and keeps a lot of mess out of the house.

Wish I had bought one sooner. Had thought about buying a griddle for a couple years. Finally decided to purchase when it was on sale. This thing is amazing! We've cooked everything from breakfast burritos to Philly cheesesteak and grilled sandwiches. YUM! My favorite thing to cook would be bacon. I can do 3 pounds in less than 45 minutes. We eat a little then freeze the rest. It's nice to be able to have a piece of bacon when I want it. But the best thing about doing it on the griddle??? My kitchen stays nice and clean and NO bacon grease to clean up or that bacon grease smell that lingers in the house!! I told my hubby that if we only ever use it for cooking bacon, then it was worth every penny! Cleaning and seasoning the griddle is easy and I love having the grease catcher right in front vs having to dance around the Blackstone to get to the grease catcher.

Cooks great but be prepared for the rusting of th. Bought this almost a year ago and I am somewhat pleased with the performance of it, but there are some quality issues that need to be addressed, rusting of the cook top even though I have seasoned it after each uses, and burner came miss aligned so the starter would not light it so I had to fix it myself or disassemble it and return it.

Great Griddle. I got my Chargriller Flat Iron Premium 36" griddle about a year and a half ago. I still have my grill, but use it a lot less. The griddle is so versatile. The things you can cook on it are endless. We have had Fajitas, cheesesteaks, bacon, pancakes and eggs, egg roll in a bowl, smashburgers, the variety is amazing and you just can't make these things on a grill.

Happy with Griddle/Customer Service AWOL. Happy with quality of my griddle but customer service terrible. Griddle came packed with all 4 side shelf brackets the same instead of 2 different sets for front and back. So I cannot install side shelves. Contacted support by filling out the form and sending pics as requested on 08/17/23 and still no response as of 09/07/23. It would be nice to just be able to talk to someone but that appears not to be an option. According to the email I received in return I was supposed to contacted within 5 business days. Nope nothing. Not happy. Probably just be easier to order the part myself at this point. Would be 5 stars if it came with the correct parts or if I was contacted.

Seems to be breaking down. Have had a couple of issues which I am surprised by. Especially since the warranty just ran out. I had yellow flame coming out the front of the unit. I did solve that by wire brushing the holes in the burner. However, the spark igniter just stopped working. I am surprised since it worked so well up to this point. Like I said, the warranty just ran out.

Well-cared for Weber grill for sale, make offer. This is the single most life-changing cooking device in my 50+ years of meal preparation. Not only are the meals we have made with this wonderful griddle delicious, but it is a delight to use. I can only recommend that you waste no time at all and run out today and buy yourself one of these.

Stay away!!!!! Complete garbage, quality control is lacking. The bottom shelf is an 1/8 of an inch off and won’t go in place without bending the legs out of place and then the grill doesn’t sit square and level. Save your money and stay away.

Best value on the market today! I have owned this for a little more than a month now. I love it! The build is premium. It feels very sturdy. The casters are great. The collapsible shelves are awesome. One side has hooks the other a magnetic strip, super useful. The built in wind guards are very effective and I simply love the front left grease trap placement. The four burners got very hot even at lower settings, and I find four distinct zones very helpful. I tell anyone who will listen, Car Griller is the best value on the market today. This does everything the more expensive brands do. Why would you pay more for the same form and function?

Best I’ve had and used. I searched for years for a quality flat plat bbq. It’s awesome. A few small changes I’d recommend . The handles on the doors are too small hard to open with big fingers. Australia use lpg not propane so had to buy a different hose to conect. I also purchased the cover for the bbq but it won’t fit with the side tables up. Despite this it still gets 5 stars

Works (sometimes). I’ve had this for almost two years. I have found it to be unreliable at best. In this model’s defense… it seems other, comparably priced models from other makers do the same. Issues? First of all, it’s not stainless steel, it’s a form of cast iron I believe. Not very smooth, easy to scratch, rusts easily. If you are used to a real stainless griddle, this will feel rough in comparison. But just as with cast iron, properly oiling and seasoning the griddle goes a long way with this. Biggest issue with this (and blackstones etc) is a safety feature on the griddle that for various reasons can make the burners stop working properly. Basically the burners will barely work, you’ll have to turn everything off at tank and griddle, disconnect propane tank at the regulator, turn on griddle to clear out gas burners, turn griddle back off, reconnect everything and try to start the griddle again. I have had two different bbq’s where guests were over and the griddle quit working at the worst possible time. I keep my griddle clean and covered and I’m not sure why this happens so often.

Great griddle! I received this griddle as a birthday gift from my wife over a year ago and have used it at least once a week since. This griddle is great! I have had no issues with it!!

Will never spend the money on this brand again! Bought this as a gift for my husband for Christmas last year. Didn't assemble and use it to late spring/early summer. Worked well for the few times we used it and then one day when i used it the front section by ignitor caught fire and melted my knobs along with ignitor. Contacted customer service and they said it wasn't covered unless it was a manufacture defect. They ended up ending new ignitor and knobs with no instructions so its a good thing I had my husband that knew how to assemble the new parts. Clearly this has been an issue that needs addressed as I've seen numerous reviews on this problem. You guys need to fix this before it ends up being a bigger problem. Thank god it wasn't worse than what it was especially since this does take propane. After spending the money i spent I would think this would last longer than it did without the problems i had. I will never invest my money in this brand again because they do not stand by their products at all so what is the point of a warranty?!

No Support - Watch for Flames!! Had this griddle for about a year. Stored it in winter for about 3 months in a garage. One of the 4 sections failed to light. Cooked like that for a few weeks until another section went out and then an impossible fire melted the entire front section and ignition switch. Contacted customer service who sent me an ignition switch that didn't stay on my unit, probes that were all too long, and eventually a new front panel. No instructions on how to replace this safely. How can I even replace when the ignition switch still keeps falling off?! I am afraid if somehow it gets back together that it will probably blow up. Also the hard cover is useless as rain still gets in the griddle. Won't recommend even though I have their char coal grill for over 12 years and an Akorn for about 3 years.

Save your money! My wife and son bought this for me on Father's day. I did everything the instruction manual said to prepare the griddle before using it. After the first use black stuff started flaking off the top of the griddle. So, I washed it with mild soap and re-seasoned the top and again according to the directions and the top of the griddle is still peeling. I don't think there is any saving this top so I'm thinking about purchasing a Blackstone.

Terrible purchase - 40% of griddle surface areas has rusted. Terrible purchase. The product was a nice surprise initially and worked as expected for the first two-three weeks. Hard to believe that after two months of usage, about 40% of the griddle surface area is covered with rust. We just returned it for a refund.

5 Star Grill. A few weeks into ownership and this thing has been great! Have used it nearly everyday. Only issue is the paper towel holder is just the worst. Everything else has been great!

You will need a hammer and a board to assemble. I thought this would be a great grille, but nothing fit together correctly. Maybe it was dropped in shipping. I spent almost two hours assemblying for a twenty minute job. The body of the grille was not square, the hood catches on the side rail and corner of the rear catches and bends. I put it together and will try using it tomorrow.

Re-Ignite your backyard parties! The king of breakfast, hash browns, bacon/sausage, pancakes/French toast, eggs. SmashBurgers for lunch. Shrimp/Steak Stir fry for dinner! Friends, Family, Neighbors, "When's the next Feast?" I added a bottle opener, upgraded the paper towel holder, and put a hook for a trash can. Ya need some accessories but this Griddle is killer, wasn't hard to put together. Seasons up nicely in under and hour. Cooking fajitas in no-time! Wish list: Adjustable points under flattop or wheels/not everywhere is level Gauge for the propane tank Sliding shelflike drawer for the propane tank for ease of switching Enclose the back completely

I definitely recommend this flat top. I've had my Char-Griller flat top premium for 10 months. It is my third flat top over the years and by far my favorite. I seen a review talking about the lid coming loose, I don't know what's up - I've never had that problem and I use it a lot. I like the fact it has wind guards, it makes controlling the flat top much easier than my previous Blackstone griddle. My only complaint is I wish the casters swiveled easier, they do swivel but for some reason it's not as easy to turn as I would expect while moving it around my patio. That's really the only thing I can think that I would improve upon. I like the cabinet, I like the side shelves, I like the holder upfront, The magnets are very strong and hold my cooking tools securely, and I am glad it has a paper towel holder. Overall I would buy this griddle again without hesitation.

I would think twice about buying this flat iron grill. This flat iron griddle over all works great. The big problem I have with it is you have to pay attention to the lid every time you use it because the bolts keep coming lose to the point that if you don't tighten them EVERY TIME you use it they will literally fall out and you will be balancing a burning hot lid by the handle not safe at all. Mind you this is the part of the griddle that comes assembled already so I did not put that together but every time you lift the lid it loosens just a little so if you open it more than about 6 times in the process of cooking that day you are doomed it will fall off so keep a eye on the bolts. But as I said the griddle itself works great but can be dangerous if you don't keep tightening the bolts.

Love This Griddle! I'm new to the griddling world behind the griddle - I've definitely been the receiving end of plenty of griddle food! :) My wife and I waffled over this decision for a bit, but once we made the decision we dove right in. The construction of the griddle is great, and really was pretty easy. The only tough spot was placing the lower shelf - like several other reviewers have stated, but with a little leverage we were able to get everything set. From the seasoning of the griddle, to the first cook to now - late July (we purchased the griddle in late April - in central Ohio - so not always conducive to outdoor cooking that early in the season) we have enjoyed many great meals, and expanded our recipes. We're excited for tailgating season and watching games at home on our back porch and using our griddle for some fan favorite eats! Jump into the griddle craze - you won't be disappointed in this griddle or this way to cook!
