Char-Griller Portable Pro™ Charcoal Grill and Side Fire Box

Where the Flavor is at!!! Bought this through Walmart for a weekend camping trip. Well exceeded my expectations. I wanted to dip my toes into charcoal grilling so I figured I could use this for portability and at home. During camping I used it to feed 7 people. The first night cooked burgers and dogs for everyone. The second night was a little more but this thing with 250 square inches was able to get the job done. We cooked 9 Ribeyes first and corn on the Cobb. No problem. I love this little grill. Used it several other times since then and will continued. Thinking about buying another one and using one of these to upgrade a Legacy in the future!

Perfect. For me, in my humble opinion, this is the perfect bbq. It is compact and travels well. I have had mine for 10 years now, and it continues to produce the best steaks I have ever tasted. I just need another ash drawer bc mine has finally rusted thru.

Sent hubby out for dinner... came home with this! He had it put together in 15 minutes and was outside throwing charcoal in it immediately LOL! I have got to say that I'm thoroughly impressed with this grill, as is my fiance. He grilled up some boneless skinless chicken thighs that were absolutely delicious. The neighbor came over to check out the grill and I heard my fiance explaining how the grill grates were actual cast iron and the grill had a bit of weight to it so he didn't have to fear it knocking over as easily as his Weber. For less than $70, I can not complain at all. I highly recommend this awesome grill!!

Tiny but Mighty! I love the heck out of this! This grill is a great size for two people! We’re looking forward to taking this to camp this season! It’s big enough to make barbecue for 2-3 people, and small enough to transport effectively! Plus the ability to attach this to the side of my barrel grill to make it an offset smoker is a nice addition! I love the versatility of this product! Char-Griller has done it again!

Awesome camping grill!! As a partner with CharGriller I had the opportunity to try the side fire box out, it was absolutely amazing!!  So incredibly versatile!!  I actually got a 2nd one so I could keep one as a camping grill and one as a side firebox for my wrangler….it was so easy to convert over!  CharGriller has really thought out the dependability and usefulness!! If I could I would give it 10 stars!!

It's great and durable. I was asked to leave an honest review as a partner of Char-Griller. The portable Pro Charcoal Grill is worth every penny. Solid construction and will last many BBQ seasons/vacations. The inner space is plenty big for a lot of pork chops or a couple of big fat T-Bones. As a side box it holds a lot of lump, a split, and charcoal briquets. On my Wrangler it lets me get to the 220's and a little bit hotter but does not flood the main body of the grill with heat which would ruin any low and slow BBQ. I mounted a rotisserie on my Wrangler with side firebox. There is plenty of clearance for the counterweight and have done turkey's, turkey breasts, pork loin, and chickens. I really think it's a great grill for portability or upping your game on your Char-Griller smoker.

My Best Friend for the Outdoors! This grill is my best friend for all of my outdoor adventure! It was very quick and simple to put together, and I love the handles that allow me to easily load and unload it from my vehicle when I'm out and about with it. It is spacious enough to cook up a complete meal, and clean-up is a snap with the slide-out ash tray, and it cools down quickly so I can reload it without worry. The vents are great for fire control, and the cast iron grates give an absolutely beautiful sear. Being able to attach this to my full-size grill is also a huge bonus!I received this grill in exchange for an honest review.

Such a versatile Grill! I have 3 of them! Two I use as a side fire box to turn my grills into an offset smoker.  One is used as a table top grill for when I’m at the beach or Tailgating. As the side fire box it is easy to maintain temperature in the smoker with the damper control. When tailgating it has plenty of room for chicken and burgers.  I was asked to leave an honest review as a partner of Char-Griller.

Gouda Cheese Burgers and Iowa corn. I recieved thisportable grill in return for an honest review. I decided to do a quick cook for the family and this grill was easy to get going and held heat really well making it easy to do some burgers with gouda cheese and grill some corn. it also cooled down and cleaned out really easily using the sliding tray. It was really easy to put together and not very heavy so the "portable " is really true.

Amazing Portable Grill for On-the-Go or at Home. I received this product from the company in exchange for an honest review. This is such an amazing portable charcoal grill. Just the right size to take tailgating or camping, but its also great for those quicker weeknight grilling sessions where you still want to cook over charcoal with little effort. It is easy to move around due to the portable nature, and is super simple to use. Just dump some charcoal, light it up, and get grilling. I also love that you can attach this grill to your barrel grill to create an offset style smoker.

Portable and sturdy. I received this product for my honest review. It’s simply a mini barrel grill that you can attach to a Barrel Pro to make it into an offset. It’s a cool sturdy grill. With the cast iron grates you can get some major searing. For what it is it’s a good little portable grill. I like it.

Honest Review as a Char-Griller Partner. I was asked to leave an honest review as a partner of Char-Griller. I have used these for side fireboxes for years. My oldest one is over a decade old with tons of use and the heavy duty construction still holds up to this day! It's the perfect size for a full chimney or two of charcoal plus some wood for those offset cooks. And the grates that come with it are perfect for putting meat on when you want that nice reverse sear after a flavorful smoke!

Received for an honest review. The portable pro is great. Perfect for picnics and small get togethers. I use it for yakitori parties and to grill up small bites. The heat retention of this product is amazing as it cooks everything evenly without any cold spots here or there. I'm sure it would be an excellent side fire box just the way it's constructed. Go get one yourself.

Great portable grill. I received this grill for an honest review. 1st off I love that it’s portable. It has some weight to it. I love the vents, bottom right to top left, gives it the ability to do some smoking with it. Overall it is just a small portable grill and works as it should. Best feature is the slide out ash tray. One feature it could have used was a thermometer.
