Rating provided by a verified purchaser. I bought the this island hood and hoped it would match up with all my appliances. It turns out perfectly. It produces more power than I would expect. The install is easy, but it would be nice if it includes the clamp for the exhaust pipe. Over all, I would recommend this hood
Best for the money. So far I really like the fan. It was definitely the best option for the money with way more filter area
Love it, easy to install. working perfect. Good value for the money.
Kitchen Under Cabinet Blower Fan. Nicely designed, low noise and all Stainless steel

It came nicely boxed and packaged with Styrofoam forms to protect the unit from impact. All stainless steel surfaces were protected from scratches with what looked like a heavy vinyl sheeting adhered to the surfaces. I recommend leaving it on the unit until you hang it to prevent accidental scratches. It is well constructed and attractive unit made of beautiful looking stainless steel. Installation was very easy and took less than 2 hours. The design and style of the range hood fits my kitchen perfectly. It works extremely well and has multiple fan power settings goes from level 1 to level 3. I was impressed by how quiet the noise it makes at level 3 given the very powerful 400 cfm. Definitely recommend!

Easy installation. The suction is very power. We usually get smell the whole house when cooking, no more smell after this installed. Overall seems a good option. Hope it's durable. Product/quality is what I expected.

Arizona. Works good but the clock is hard to set. I have had this for a year now and still have it set to military time
Great product. Good quality, easy to install! Works great, love the quiet fan and bright LED lights
Atlanta, GA. The fan didn't come with a conversion kit despite saying it does. I had to have it installed ducted and this cost me twice as much as I expected to pay for installation. The fan itself looks good but is a bit louder than I wanted. Can't give it a better rating due to the fact that I did not get what it said came with the product. Wayfair did refund 25% but doesn't come close to covering the difference I had to pay to get it installed as a ducted hood
Watch for Tricky Installation.. We purchased this EMPAVA range hood just 1 month ago. It is a stylish and functional unit. There are controls on both sides of the unit, be aware of this. I like the hood, however. "please" be prepare to improvise during installation. The instructions are "not" correct. It is a nice unit and hope it will last a long time. I do recommend it as long as you have an experienced installer for island hoods

Anonymous. Good deal for the money, but a little too mid century looking for my taste. It'll do the job until I can afford something customupscale
Worked fine. Worked for what I needed it for
Great hood. I installed this in 20 minutes and it was easy. Its clean and easy and very quiet. So glad I shopped Empava for this
Good Exhaust Fan replacement. Looks good, works well, price is right
Great vent. Good looking and nice quality. I brought 36" for my kitchen and 30" for my brother's kitchen. inspect and test them right away after received. everything good as expect
Nice. Good
Powerful, Sleek Design and Simple Usage. This was installed by my contractor, but by the numbers it's on the high end of venting for 36 inch ranges. Just put it in this week, so I haven't put it to the test yet, but we ran it through the cycles and the noise levels are much improved from our previous hood. Very pleased so far!
Great quality product works great. Highly recommended
Good product. Installed easy and fit good. It will not work like a vented hood but ok if you don't have duct work. Good price point
Low price for a professional range hood. It is an excellent buy for a 36 in stainless steel range hood. It is quiet, powerful, good look. A light will be perfect since it's 36 in wide. I highly recommend this product

Kitchen Refresh. We were planning to take down our old range hood to clean and repaint it, but then we found a fantastic replacement at an affordable price. Installing the new one was a breeze; it took us only 15 minutes to remove the old range hood and put up the new one. The moment we turned it on, we were thrilled with how great it looked C it gave our kitchen a refreshed, modern look. The fan works pleasantly, not too loud, and the light is bright enough to illuminate the stovetop. Overall, we're very happy with our purchase
Great product, I love that the oil catches are machine washable
Elegant Functionality. Easy to install. Very elegant addition to our kitchen
A bargain and beautiful. Looks amazing, great price, works well. I like the light it puts off. Reason for 4 stars and not 5- fan could be more powerful and it's not the easiest clean. The glass surround is beautiful but it gets greasy and needs to be wiped down which is fine for my tall husband not so much for short me even on a ladder. Considering the price difference between this and the next step up in hoods I'll take this
GA. Very nice looking

The unit hangs to low with both pieces, to high with one. Took some fabricating to make it look correct. Be careful. Finished product looks great.

North Stonington, CT. Looks great and works great in our space. Moves a lot of air and keeps odors down while cooking
An excellent ceiling mounted vented fan. Exactly what we needed. Functions perfectly
Excellent. An excellent ceiling mounted vented fan. Exactly what we needed. Functions perfectly
Anonymous. First one arrived damaged , beautiful peace but second time re order came scratch .. disappointed with Fed ex shipment
Both sides have touch controls. We just installed the vent hood. it's working but cannot comment on how well. The one thing the surprised us is that is has the touch control panel on both sides. We did not expect that as there are pictures showing one side not having any controls. is this a one-off QA miss or is this this how it is, though not represented in the ad?
Philadelphia, PA. Two sided controls are very functional. The time display on both sides is a nice feature. The 400 CFM work very well. Spouse already commented on the excellent performance. Blower noise is low considering our prior hood was much noisier. Very well priced. Considering the cost of an installer, which exceeded the price of the unit, I decided to install it myself and it worked rather well

Rating provided by a verified purchaser. Berry good luck
NOT for 8' ceiling. Looks great.. NOT designed with enough *practical* clearance for 8 ft. celing with a 36” tall counter. Prior to purchase, we carefully examined specs; and have found the 2 piece chimney height range specs misleading. We begrudgedly cut 5” off the sheet metal chimney; and drilled new holes in the brackets to accomodate. Installation suggests drywall anchors in the ceiling for support. This is not a lightweight aparatus. We installed supports between ceiling joists for a stronger support. We are venting outside. The venthood is quite beautiful , though ;-)
The look if this Range hood is very Nice, i love the sound quality of it. Very impressed with the look and quality if it.
