Precision at its best for baking. The 17 power levels are great for melting chocolate or butter. You can get it low enough that it stays liquid without ever scorching.
★★★★★ Earle B. May 17, 2026
Professional power for home chefs. 11400W is no joke—it's legit commercial grade. I can sear steaks on one burner while delicate sauces simmer on another without any power drops. Empava nailed the performance.
★★★★★ Nancy B. May 5, 2026
Check your breaker before buying! FYI, this needs a 50A hardwired connection. It's a beast. Once installed, it's been flawless. The 36-inch footprint fit my existing cutout perfectly.
★★★★★ Randi W. April 28, 2026
Instant heat is a total game changer. Literally boils a pot of water in under 2 minutes. I used to start the water and go watch TV, now I can't even leave the room before it's bubbling.
★★★★★ X J. April 24, 2026
The Bridge element is elite for brunch. I use the bridge element with my cast iron griddle every Sunday. It heats the whole surface evenly—no more raw pancakes in the middle and burnt ones on the edge.
★★★★★ Rozanne R. April 13, 2026
Safety first with the auto-off. Love that it detects if a pan is actually there. If I take the pot off, it stops heating immediately. Great peace of mind for a forgetful cook.
★★★★★ Jody J. April 8, 2026
No more scrubbing! I used to spend 20 mins scrubbing my old coil stove. This Empava stays clean because nothing sticks to it. Total W for my sanity.
★★★★★ Jason S. April 2, 2026
Cook like a pro every single day. The power boost is a massive time saver. Between that and the bridge elements, I feel like I have a professional kitchen setup now.
★★★★★ Robert O. March 24, 2026
The bridge element is the MVP. If you use a griddle, you need this. It connects two zones into one giant heating area. No more "hot in the middle, cold on the ends."
★★★★★ Erik H. March 20, 2026
Better than gas, no cap. I was a ride-or-die gas fan until I tried this. The response time is instant, and my kitchen doesn't turn into a sauna while I'm meal prepping for the week.
★★★★★ Carrie M. March 2, 2026
Best bang for your buck. Was looking at Bosch and Wolf, but the specs on this Empava are comparable for half the price. The glass surface is tough and super easy to wipe down.
★★★★★ Thomas H. February 22, 2026
Keeps the kitchen cool and comfy. Unlike my old radiant stove, this only heats the pan. I can cook a 4-course meal in the middle of a Texas summer without breaking a sweat.
★★★★★ Lance S. February 20, 2026
High-end performance, mid-range price. Obsessed with the bridge element. Finally, a cooktop that fits my oversized cast iron griddle perfectly. No cold spots, just even heat. 10/10 would recommend.
★★★★★ Shivam Z. February 20, 2026
11400W is a total game changer. The power on this thing is insane. I'm coming from gas and was worried about control, but the 17 precision stages are legit. Boils water faster than my electric kettle.
★★★★★ Nikhila R. February 8, 2026
Responsive touch, even with messy hands. I was worried the touch sensors would be finicky, but they work great even if my fingers are a little damp or oily while prepping.
★★★★★ Linda M. February 8, 2026
Easy DIY upgrade. If you're handy and have the right wiring, this is an easy swap. The bridge elements are great for my rectangular roasting pans. Very versatile layout.

Save Electricity and Time and Have Fun Cooking! Empava Built-In Electric Induction Cooktop 36 Inch. Not many reviews for this size, so here is mine, and this was easy! In a nutshell, we are super pleased with this induction cooktop! It replaces a glass-top radiant unit: it worked and kept the kitchen plenty warm, but had knobs that made cleaning a little more of a chore. We've had smooth-top radiant in the past, without knobs. So this unit fit the bill, plus we wanted to try induction. Installation was easy and after a month of use we are happy. Induction is great, less power demand, less residual heat, and FAST cooking! This one is a bit pricier but it has so many features that make it almost fun to use. Make sure your cookware is "Induction" ready; our "Made In" skillets work beautifully. Easy choice for us. Well packaged, arrived fast and perfect. If we have more to say in the future, we'll update.
★★★★★ Denise L. February 6, 2026
Beefy specs for serious cooking. 50 Amps means this thing has the overhead to run everything at once. It's a serious piece of hardware for people who actually cook.
★★★★★ Willene C. January 8, 2026
Clean lines and high efficiency. The 98% energy efficiency is a nice flex for the utility bill. It barely wastes any heat. Plus, the surface stays relatively cool, which is a huge plus for safety.
★★★★★ Brandon January 3, 2026
Effective and intuitive, but expensive. I installed this 36" 5 burner induction cooktop just before Christmas of 2025, and it has been used quite a lot in the last two weeks. It is quick to heat, maintains even temperatures, the controls are pretty intuitive and it is easy to clean up. The installation was also pretty easy, but it was replacing a conventional cooktop of the same size and voltage so it wired up and fit right into place without a problem.
The biggest downside is the number of presses it takes to boil a tea pot. Hold the unlock button for 3 seconds (because it automatically locks itself when not in use), tap the cooktop On/Off button twice, then tap the burner On/Off once, then the Power Boost button to max the heat, then (optionally) start a timer for 2 minutes by tapping the Timer button twice, then the + button twice and finally the Timer button again to start it. The upside is that it will just about boil 16 oz of water in that 2 minutes which is fast as far as I'm concerned. The number of presses becomes a non issue when using all 5 burners, however, as it is very easy to see what burner is at which level and changing them is super easy and intuitive, unlike some of the other offerings.
There is a bit of a buzz to the induction, but that is heavily dependent on the power level, the pan design, and the volume of the room and/or whatever is cooking.
It was more than 2 times more expensive than other options we considered, but the aesthetics of the design a

Nice look. Received this cooktop in excellent packaging. Love the nice sleek look with no knobs to clean under !!! The dimensions were supposed to be same as the one I was replacing but this cooktop is slightly smaller so it is going to take some ingenuity to figure out making the opening in our granite smaller :( if possible. Can't wait to actually be able to use it . If you are replacing an existing cooktop just be sure of measurements, ours we are replacing is 36” ( this one is 36”) actual length of existing one is 36.5 and this one is 36 . Depth of ours is 21.625 and this one is just 21
★★★★★ JOHN December 27, 2025
Amazed. I feel product is brilliant for the family that wants a modern touch, safer (around young children) + energy-efficient design cooktop with both rapid and even heating. I do recommend doing your research, if this is your first induction cooktop, and if you are installing this yourself. Among the features that I find most helpful are that my toddlers cannot reach the controls. Even if they could, there is the ability to lock those controls out, and this will not cook without cookware on top of this unit. Mitigates the risk of burnt fingers! You'll see this unit has features that limit the amount of thinking required, which is beneficial because this type of unit is designed for those who are cooking on multiple surfaces at once. For example, each zone has its own timer, and each zone has modes like simmer and otherwise. Additionally, the sync capability enables even cooking of longer rectangular cookware, which typically would tie-up the oven. With all that said, if you don't have compatible / magnetic-bottom cookware (cast iron, some stainless), it would be an investment to transition to an induction cooktop. Consider your countertop setup for venting requirements. Highly encourage a professional for installation at this higher voltage level and for heat evacuation. I would definitely recommend this reliable product.
★★★★★ Lenuta P. December 22, 2025
Huge heating area for big pots. The 36-inch layout is perfect. I can actually use all 5 zones without playing "Tetris" with my pans. It's spacious enough for a full Thanksgiving spread.
★★★★★ Vance D. December 18, 2025
Perfect for my big family dinners. Having 5 burners is clutch when you're making pasta, sauce, veggies, and meat all at once. The power distribution across the zones is very impressive.
★★★★★ Cossetta S. December 7, 2025
Low profile, high performance. It sits almost flush with my granite counters. It's got that high-tech, minimalist look that makes the whole kitchen feel more modern and updated.
★★★★★ Nicholas S. November 26, 2025
Main character energy in my kitchen. It looks so sleek. The black glass is giving "luxury loft" vibes.
★★★★★ Robert K. November 25, 2025
Very intuitive touch controls. Didn't even have to look at the manual. The sliders are super responsive and way easier to deal with than greasy knobs. It's very "set it and forget it."
★★★★★ Krystina P. October 28, 2025
Aesthetic and functional. Finally, a cooktop that doesn't look like my grandma's house. The touch interface is very "future."
★★★★★ Johnny G. October 25, 2025
Hardwire only—don't forget! Just a heads up for the buyers, this isn't a plug-and-play. But the 11400W output is worth the professional electrical work.
★★★★★ Duane S. October 19, 2025
Absolute unit of a stove. 11400W? Say less. This thing cooks everything in half the time.
★★★★★ Donna J. October 11, 2025
5 burners is a life saver. Cooking for a family of 5 requires space. Having 5 active zones—including the bridge—means I can actually have the main, the sides, and the sauce going at once.
★★★★★ Carmela T. October 6, 2025
Consistent heat, no cycling issues. Some cheap induction tops click on and off to maintain temp, but this one stays consistent. It makes cooking delicate things so much easier.
★★★★★ David S. October 4, 2025
Smart design and burner layout. The way the 5 zones are spaced out actually makes sense. You can fit a large skillet in the middle and still have room for smaller pots.
★★★★★ Denise L. September 24, 2025
High-end feels without the markup. The glass surface is super smooth and tough. I've slid heavy pans across it and haven't seen a single scratch yet. Definitely feels like it'll last.
★★★★★ Anas K. September 14, 2025
Sleek AF and fits the vibe. Honestly, this black glass is lowkey the highlight of my kitchen remodel. It's super thin and looks like a high-end designer piece. Plus, cleaning it is a total breeze.
★★★★★ Ann R. September 6, 2025
This cooktop is fire (ironically). The bridge element is goated for Sunday brunch pancakes.
★★★★★ Donette V. September 5, 2025
Clean up is literally 2 seconds. Since the glass doesn't get scorching hot, spills don't bake onto the surface. A quick wipe with a microfiber cloth and it's back to being a mirror.

Powerful center burner for the win. That center zone is a beast for wok cooking. It gets the oil shimmering hot in seconds, giving me that perfect "wok hei" flavor at home.
★★★★★ Zoeth D. August 28, 2025
Precision cooking at its finest. Most electric tops struggle with low heat, but the dual copper coils here keep a simmer perfectly. No scorched sauces. Truly impressed with the tech in this Empava.

★★★★★ Jim D. August 10, 2025
Stunning in person, total eye candy. The photos don't do it justice. When the light hits the glass, it looks so high-end. My neighbors keep asking what brand it is.
★★★★★ Mai Y. August 7, 2025
Smooth surface is everything for cleanup. Spilled some tomato sauce and it didn't even burn on. Just wiped it off with a damp cloth mid-cooking. My old stove would've required a chisel.

Minimalist dream for modern homes. If you hate cleaning around knobs, this is for you. The touch interface is sleek and stays clean. It's the ultimate "clean girl aesthetic" for kitchens.

Reliable daily driver. Six months of heavy daily use and it's still running like day one. No weird error codes or heating issues. Empava really delivered on the reliability.
★★★★★ Bernardo M. July 18, 2025
17 levels of control is wild. It's not just Low/Med/High. You can really fine-tune the temp. Perfect for tempering chocolate or delicate fish.

Energy efficiency is a W. Noticeable difference in how fast pans heat up compared to my old radiant top. The copper coils are high quality.
★★★★★ Shawna P. June 27, 2025
Super quiet operation. Some induction tops have a loud buzz, but this one is pretty chill. The cooling fans aren't distracting at all, even when I'm running multiple burners.
★★★★★ Sahari S. June 24, 2025
Worth every penny of the investment. Was worried about the price being "too good, " but this holds its own against the $2k brands. The build quality is solid and it feels very premium.

No cap, the best upgrade I've made. I was skeptical about induction, but the 17 power levels make cooking so much easier.

Rating provided by a verified purchaser. We love this cooktop!! Fit like a glove in the countertop where the old cooktop previously sat. Hook-up was done in minutes. It looks great! I love the induction heating. Heats faster than a gas range or the old electric burner stove. Heat is literally instantaneous! Touch sensitive controls are awesome! I am a safety nut and love the lock button feature. You can't accidentally turn on a burner and even if you could you don't get heat until you put something ferrous on the burner. Highly recommend this to anyone buying a new cooktop! Shipped on schedule and arrived on time. We've had this cooktop for 4 months and Yest one complaint. Far exceeds expectations.

ILOVE INDUCTION COOK TOPS. This the second Empava induction cook top we have purchased and it even better than the first we had. If you want to cook on a cooktop that heats up when you want it to and cools down when you want it to... you can't get a better cooktop than Empava. We love it. I gave the cooktop 5 stars - I would have given it 10 if that was available. Regards to value it's the best on the market.

US. Some things I love about this cooktop FAST heating up time, instant response to changes in temperature, and the bridging burners. Induction cooking is the best. I originally had a different much more expensive brand induction cooktop but it's computer died after 8 years. I bought this brand when the brand I had wasn't available the first one died after 1 month of use and Wayfair sent a replacement. 1 Thing I HATE is it turns off after being on for 2 hours and for me part of the joy of my induction is keeping a pot simmering REALLY low for a day instead of using the crockpot. A couple tips: 1. It is louder than my cooktop that was $2000 more but if you have a fuller or heavier pot it quiets the vibration noise. IF you want to heat a large pot of water on the smaller burners use the bridge even if it seems like the pot should fit on one burner.

Tiny elements, inconsistent heating. I have this exact model and have used it for over a year. BUYER BEWARE! All elements are much closer to 5" in actual diameter, even the main element in the middle. I've tested and experience this myself by placing water in a wide cast iron pan on each burner and letting it heat up. Only a very small 5" ring actually gets hot, EVEN WITH 100% CAST IRON. I can't wait to replace this unit with something better. You pay for what you get!
★★★★★ Lacey May 9, 2022
Good product for the value. This cooktop is easy to use and works like a charm. I love the controls and simplicity. Just put in the number you want to cook at and cook away.. I looked at much more expensive brands, but decided to give this a try and am glad I did. It does everything I expected, although it does make some noise when using the biggest burner. I love the way it looks and ease to clean after cooking.
★★★★★ Bush April 23, 2022
Excellent product with reasonable price. I am looking for a new cooktop for my kitchen renovation and this induction cooktop got my attention. After reading all the reviews I decided to give it a try. I must say it went beyond my expectation, not only heating is much faster, but also cleaning is much easier than my old electric cooktop. The only thing you need to be aware is this cooktop will only work with magnetic pots and pans, so if you have aluminum pots and pans, it's time to upgrade. I enjoyed my new cookware set as well.

Gets hot now! But the buzzing has got to go. We needed a replacement cook top and we wanted to explore what using induction would be like. We are very impressed by the speed of pans getting hot and water boiling. It is almost harder to switch to induction vs gas to electric. Also the hard set temps of L(low)-9 amke it difficult to find the sweet spot between a rolling boil and boiling over. Like 6 is boiling over and 5 kicks the power off so the rolling boil stops, but it starts back up a second or so later to a rolling boil. So far this has mostly been about induction, oh BTW aluminum pots and pans no workie - our bad not doing enough research. The main thing we do not like about this particular product is the buzzing. Each "burner" has its own level of buzzing with the small ones being the "quietest", but highest pitch to the large one in the center being the loudest, but still an annoying pitch. Maybe the smaller ones are high pitched enough our adult ears cannot hear it as much. The installation was rather painless, dropped it in the existing hole from our old electric cooktop and wired it in. The completely flat surface is a breeze to clean.

This is our first induction cooktop. I LOVE it so far!! Have only been using it for a few days and it was the best decision ever. I switched from a gas range and couldn't stand cleaning all the grates. We originally picked out a different (big name) brand and it was $2500. I saw this for $499 and we thought we'd give it a try. It doesn't have tons of fancy features but it's simple and very straightforward. Easy to use, super easy to clean and it boils water so fast! It cooks everything faster than any gas or electric range I've used. A rep from Empava even reached out to see if I liked it or didn't like it. Very impressed and glad we saved the money going with this model.

Never heard of Empava, but we love it! I purchased this to replace a 5 year old whirlpool gold series that magically went kaput. My wife wanted induction but OMG the price! i stumbled on empava and at such a great price point, i figured it was worth the risk. What I love: I can fit any size pot on this stove. my other stove required all kinds of arrangements to get the pots i wanted in place. the touch controls: my previous cooktop had knobs and broke and got food in the components. i now have a flat surface that cleans easily. finally, the ability to heat fast and cook at a consistent temp. the best! you do have to get used to the induction noise when heating at high temps but overall, i don't find it very bothersome and the trade off for performance is worth it. We did invest in a nice set of new pots but our previous were going on 15 years and needed to be replaced. we ended up going with the Circulon Symmetry 11-pc. Hard-Anodized Nonstick Cookware Set at Kohls. Make sure to stack your coupons if buying from there :) We are only going on 3 months with this unit so i can't speak to its longevity, but i will update if encounter any mechanical issues.

Decent, but not what I expected. I replaced a GE induction cooktop that went bad after only 5 years. Granted this is not a $1200 cooktop, so you cannot expect the same level of cooking control that Bosch and others can offer. Side note, I wont purchase anything GE for my house ever again.Features are good and plentiful. My main issue is with the control over the heating. With my old cooktop, when you wanted to simmer (say low or med), it changed the intensity of the heating element, not just duration it was on. With this cooktop, it is full power on and off, the level L thru H, only changes how long the element is on (at full power).Other than that, it is decent so far. Will update as needed based on more use.
