Rove Concepts Camino Treadmill Review

The Rove Concepts Camino treadmill is a low profile walking treadmill designed to look like furniture, with solid wood accents and a choice of Alabaster or Black. In this Rove Concepts Camino treadmill review we cover what it does well, where its limits are (it tops out at walking speed), how it pairs with a standing desk, and what it costs from us versus Rove. Every spec comes from Rove’s product page and our listing, both checked on 2 October 2026.

What the Camino treadmill does well

It looks like it belongs in a living room

Most walking pads are grey plastic slabs. The Camino’s wood accents and two finishes are the reason to buy it over a generic pad: it can stay out in a home office or living space without looking like gym equipment. If it is going to sit in view all day, that matters.

Very low step height

At 5.8 inches tall, stepping on and off is easy, and it keeps your head height close to normal when you walk under a standing desk. That low profile also means it can slide under furniture with enough clearance when you want it out of the way, though at 50.2 inches long and non-foldable it needs a long, low spot.

Simple controls

A remote and LED screen handle speed. There is no app, program library or touchscreen to learn, which is what most people want from a desk treadmill.

Limits to know before you buy

  • Walking only. The top speed is 3.7 mph. That is a brisk walk for most adults, not a jog. If you want to run, this is the wrong machine.
  • No listed incline. Neither Rove’s page nor ours lists an incline function.
  • Weight limit. Max user weight is 265 lb.
  • It does not fold. Rove describes the steel frame as non-foldable for stability.
  • Warranty detail. Rove’s limited warranty, as written on its refund policy page, covers manufacturing defects in furniture: 5 years on metal or solid wood structural failures and 1 year on soft parts and workmanship. It does not specifically address motors or electronics, so ask us how a motor or controller issue would be handled before you buy.

Using the Camino under a standing desk

This is the most common use for a walking treadmill. Two practical checks:

  1. Desk height. The deck adds 5.8 inches to your standing height, so your desk needs to rise 5.8 inches higher than the height you normally use standing on the floor. Measure your current standing setting, add 5.8 inches, and confirm your desk’s maximum height covers it.
  2. Footprint. The treadmill is 22.8 inches wide and 50.2 inches deep. Check that it fits between the desk legs or frame and still leaves room to step off the back.

In the same catalog, the Athena Standing Desk, Eryk Standing Desk and the lower priced Eryk/Athena E-Standing Desk are the electric height adjustable options. Our Athena Standing Desk review covers that desk in detail. Start at a slow speed while typing; most people find a gentle pace easier to work at than their normal walking speed.

Camino vs a curved manual treadmill

If you are comparing the Camino with a full size treadmill, they solve different problems.

Price, shipping and returns

On 2 October 2026, Rove listed the Camino at $517 regular and $310 for members. Our price on the Camino Treadmill is also $517. Here is the honest math on this one: our free freight starts at $999, so the Camino on its own ships for our $200 flat rate, while Rove’s store policy lists $159 flat rate standard shipping on orders up to $5,000 retail, with an estimated 1 to 3 week transit. Bought alone, it costs less from Rove, and much less with a Rove membership (see Is a Rove Concepts membership worth it?). It makes sense to buy from us when you combine it with a desk or other furniture that takes your order to $999 or more, which ships free freight within the contiguous U.S.

Rove’s refund policy requires returns to reach its warehouse within 30 days of delivery and excludes custom and Final Sale items. Our terms are on our return and refund policy page. Questions before ordering? Call 866-777-2590, Monday to Friday, 9AM to 6PM PST.

Verdict: is the Camino treadmill worth it?

Buy it if you want a good looking walking pad for a home office or living room and value design over features. Skip it if you want to jog, need incline, weigh more than 265 lb, or need a treadmill that folds.
