Great stove. We've been using this stovetop for about four years, and really like it! It's responsive, and looks nice. The glass top is easy to clean with soap and water, and the timer is useful. The only thing I don't like is it seems that lower settings mean less frequent heat, rather than a lower intensity; meaning I need to stir stews more often than I would expect. Maybe all induction stoves do this

In 2021 we purchased the 30-inch Induction cooktop and have been thrilled with its performance and ease of use. Highly recommend Empava and their induction cooktops!

We got the 30 inch model and I can see the real $ savings in how efficient is is and It looks fantastic in our kitchen. My wife could not believe how fast it boiled water And THEN I showed her the PUSH Button that boils water even faster and i thought she was going to cry a little she was so happy

Not Up To Specification. We have now been using our EMPV-IDC30 for 2 years and overall are satisfied with the performance of the unit. However, there are two things that are making us consider searching for a replacement. We spent a fair amount of time selecting our cooktop. We found the Empava line and were impressed with the features, specifications and reviews. One key feature for us in choosing this particular model was the pot size capacity for each burner. Our induction cookware has a handy saucepan that would only work on the EMPV-IDC30 because of its small contact diameter. The other model 30EC02 had a larger minimum size. The specifications and website provide the following information: “The EMPV-IDC30 features one 10 in. heating element up to 2700-Watt, one 8 in. heating element up to 2500-Watt, one 7 in. heating element up to 2000-Watt and one 6 in. heating element up to 1800-Watt in Power Boost Mode up to 5 minutes.” In reality, while the circles on the cooktop are the specified size, the induction elements under the glass are all 7-1/2 inches in diameter. (I had a need to open the unit as the power cord orientation needed to be turned 180 degrees and Empava Support provided a how-to video.) The small induction elements is very notable as seen in this photo of a large skillet on the 10 inch heating element. The water is starting to boil and the circle of bubbles is considerably smaller (approx. 7 inches). The only way we can cook pancakes is one at a time. With 4 pancakes the inner area of each pancake will char before the outer edge is cooked. It is a similar issue when trying to simmer anything in a pot or pan with a diameter larger than 7-1/2 inches. Constant stirring is required. Cooking at levels 1, 2, or 3 is achieve by cycling the heating element off and on, in a manner similar to microwave ovens. It works OK. The other thing with the burners all being identical sizes is any pot will work on any burner. Maybe a good thing. The only size detection seems to be that there is a pot on the burner. Another problem for me is that the power level displays are so dim that they are nearly impossible to read. I will sometimes turn off the range hood light in order to see them

everyone is envious ;-). So, I hit a snug. I ordered a fantastic oven, but didn't realize how it will fit in my newly renovated galley kitchen. Than I had a new countertop installed. Than I realized that there simply isn't enough space between the top of the new stove and the bottom of the countertop to fit my existing cook-top. oh no!!! So I turned to the internet to search for a cook-top that will fit in about 3-inches from top of the countertop - and that is how I found the Empava Induction Cook-top. I read on

Cooks fast with instant heating ability. Love this feature. The water boils almost instantly! Huge improvement over the old glass tops. Switching over to Induction cookware is necessary, but has been worth it! Love the safety features. The cookware also needs to be heavy to keep from moving around during cooking. First time using it I realized it won't come on without a pot or pan on a burner and also shuts off when removing. The only thing I would change would be to add a half temperature like 1.5 etc. We are loving it! It is a huge improvement to our old glass top cooker! It is a smart stove!!

I looked @ Home Depot web site and the price was from $75.00 to $150.00 lower than all the sellers on E-bay. This is not the first time this has happened for me. We bought a 30" cooktop and it looks and works great! Modern look and very durable, though the detail around the individual burners takes a bit of time to clean. I highly recommend the glass top! Pretty easily installed it without much effort at all (hardest part was pulling out the old one). Wonderful experience overall and happy customers!

Nice cooktop for the price. Overall for the price, this is a nice cook top. It is sleek and the design is attractive. It does shut off randomly for us; not sure if that's on the appliance side or it could be something with the electrical

Great replacement for my old stove!. It arrived packaged very well. I had never installed a stove before but it was surprisingly easy. Just make sure you kill the breaker. It has a great sleek, minimalistic look. It also heats faster than my old traditional stove and is easier to clean. I especially liked that the price was well below the other models. The good and the bad. So good news is Empava customer service is amazing. The product is also well designed and functions well. The bad is that I first bought the cooktop and it was great for a week but then it stopped working. I contacted Empava and they are very responsive and immediately sent a replacement at no cost. They also followed up to make sure it was received and working. So far six months later it's worked great

Satisfied Customer. Based on one month's usage, I am a happy owner of my Empava induction cooktop (30 inch). The black glass cooktop looks handsome. The surface of the unit is very easy to keep clean. The cooktop heats food in pots and pans much faster than my previous electric resistance coil unit. My Empave induction cooktop does a great job. I can control the heat while cooking instantly. This unit replaced a electric cooktop and I'll never go back to that. It makes cooking a pleasure. At the price I paid it works like tops twice the cost.

Stylish and Convenient. I am loving the quick cook times on my new cook top. It does make noise as the instruction manual states while the burners are on. And one thing I have noticed is that our dogs don't like the noise. It is very high pitched and must be painful to them. They leave the kitchen when I am cooking now. Other than that, I am learning the buttons and the features and really like the lock feature

Great Bargain. After the install we tried to use our "Blue Diamond" pans - and they did not work - or aluminum pans - I wasn't aware that the pans had to be "magnetic" - So - We had to buy some "Diffuser Plates" to make the Blue Diamomd pans and aluminum pans to work - other than this issue and is well -------

Great value! I'll update this review if something changes, but so far it's great. The only complaint we might have is the buzzing sound is louder than the higher end induction cooktops (thus only four stars). If you haven't used an induction top before it will certainly take some getting used to. If you take a pot off a burner while the burner is on it will error after only a few seconds and you'll have to turn the whole cooktop off and back on to reset it, but you learn to turn the burner off first. Things cook fast, and on a lower setting than conventional tops. There is a timer for each burner which is really nice once you get to know how long something takes, but the tone for when they turn off is quiet. So far, no regrets.

The Empava was so aggressively priced compared to some competitors, but also looked very sleek with touch controls. The package arrived well packed and secured, and installation was a breeze using the included cutting template for the countertop. Connecting to mains supply was also well documented in Instructions, but make sure you have a dedicated circuit breaker rated to 40Amp in your breaker box to accomodate the unit. The unit functions beautifully and controls are simple and responsive - I particularly like that the white printing is very subtle giving a clean, smooth polished glass finish - very clean and aesthetically pleasing. We purchased a cover, mainly to protect the surface from accidental drops when not in use. Excellent value for money and works faultlessly

For a no-name brand, this exceeded my expectations.. This was offered as a used (return) at almost a third off of the new cost. Prime covers return shipping so I gave it a try. When it was delivered I got nervous, because the shipping box was really trashed. I was wondering if that might be foretelling of the products condition inside. But to my relief the cook-top looked brand new. There were no scratches, chips, nor dents. Furthermore, all the functions worked as expected, ...Well, except one small thing. The lowest setting is 'L' (for 'keep warm'), but it seems to put out more energy than '1'. Seems odd, but it isn't a problem for me.I've only been using this for two months, so I cannot speak to reliability. But, I am very pleased with this cook-top thus far.BTW - Everyone should know that you can't use aluminum, copper, glass, nor ceramic pots and pans. The bottoms must be of a ferrous material

Replaced an old GE electric cooktop and was a much better fit than expected. So upon reading reviews I was expecting more issues installing this. I replaced an existing 1960's electric cooktop that was falling apart. The shape and size was odd enough that GE sells a specialized steel adapter for their modern cooktop to replace these old units. Turns out this unit is almost a perfect fit. I had to install some 1/2" boards on the left and right, and some 1/4" boards along the front and back to give the cooktop something to rest on and it covers the hole completely.The cabling is heavy gauge stranded so it's very flexible. Silicon or rubber insulated and the cable is steel wrapped. The whole unit is of quite good quality build wise.This is an induction stove. If your not familiar with the technology you can't use aluminum pans here. Stainless steel pans or cast iron only. If a magnet doesn't stick to your favorite pan you'll want to consider a different cook-top. Or do like I did and take this as an opportunity to buy new pans. For the price difference from this to a Whirlpool or Frigidare induction unit you'll be able to afford a whole new cook set twice over.Check your breaker box in the basement and make sure you have a 40 amp breaker for the cook-top. If not take the needed action to upgrade this. The listing for the cook-top clearly states you need this. As does the instruction manual and the box in very clear print.Once installed the unit's proven great for me! Super easy to clean compared to my old cook-top (pictured). Just keep in mind unlike electric or gas the cook-top has a sensor that knows if the pan has been lifted from the cook-top and shuts down the unit with an error code. So no picking up the pan to swirl around oil or butter. Buy a silicon brush to aid you here.There will be some necessary changes to your cooking style. However I've found the new cook-top rewarding. When you hear claims of how quickly induction works I can state these are true. Made spaghetti the first night this was in. The pot of water boiled in about 2 minutes. The next morning I had a hot skillet ready for eggs in 10 seconds on setting 2. The "lock" keeps you from accidentally turning on the unit or little hands from playing with it.So far I'm loving it and can recommend it. The cost difference not only allows you to buy pans if you need them, but also to hire an electrician if you need an electrical upgrade. To be clear you'd need the same for the Frigidare or Whirlpool units.Now there is a sound associated with induction cook-tops. It's a high pitched warble with a fan noise. It's not unique to this unit. It does let you know it's running. This might bother some people but I appreciate it. The old resistive cook-top made no noise except the occasional click of a relay and had a "safety light" to tell you the unit was hot... somewhere. With this new unit each individual cooktop spot is tracked for being hot even after you power it off

Empava Induction cooktop. I ordered online and received it quickly. It was easy for my husband to install and was cooking in no time. I love the powerbost feature and easiness which to use the induction cooktop. The only concern I have is that the edges around the cooktop could be damaged if something is dropped on them. I would highly recommend the Empava cooktop

Great product for the money. This cooktop has changed our lives! It heats evenly and quickly. We did have to get used to it and burned food the first couple of times using it. It is nice though, now we are used to it, our food doesn't stick in the pans. My husband was able to install it with little difficulty (we had to cut our hole a little bigger). The digital, touch controls are easy to use. I love the lock feature. We have 5 grandchildren and they can't use the stove or accidentally turn the eye up when it's in use. I would highly recommend this cooktop!

This is legitimate. I use this for my restaurant; every single day, it pushes through. The continuous even heat is astounding. We are talking seconds. Instead of tens of minutes. It's been 2 months and nothing has streaked or burned. Really impressed

Great cooktop. My wife and I were skeptical due to lack of feedback and unfamiliarity with the brand. After a month of use, all fears are allayed. This induction cooktop is a third of the price of others and performs just as well as the name brands. Installation was easy (fortunately the cut-out in the granite countertop accommodated this unit). My only minor gripe is that the instruction manual for installation is not very clear

better than gas. Always had gas cooktops, installed this unit within an hour. More responsive than gas when increasing or decreasing heat settings. Doesn't heat up the surrounding surface or house like gas. Definitely an induction buyer from now on. Because the surface doesn't get too warm, nothing burns on the surface. Super easy to clean

I'm giving 5 stars because it does what it claims, if I had paid what is typical for induction it would be 3. To start - you get what you pay for. It's a cheap induction that functions really well. It's a bit smaller than typical electric cooktop untis so if you have granite and your switching to this be prepared to do some upgrades. What I did was install 1/4" flat stock steel plates on 2 sides of my existing opening and held them in place with 4400 psi epoxy. After that the unit fit in perfectly and I caulked it in place to make sure it was snug and didn't move. They tell you to not caulk the unit as it needs to be removalable for service but I guess they don't know what a razor is and how easily it can be removed. It takes 10 minutes to boil 1 gallon of water in a large stock pot. Each coil is exactly the same size regardless of what burner you use which is a bit frustrating. The only difference between the burners is amount of power that can be allocated to each. Cast iron is your friend in this instance and if you want to have the entire surface of a 12" cast iron pan hot you'll need to use boost for a few minutes then lower the temp to allow the heat to disperse to the entire pan. This is not normal.. I have a high end bertazzoni and each coil is designed for the specific burner. Once again you get what you pay for. I'm not sure if this is normal but our unit has a slight hot electronics smell when cooking. Maybe this is because it's been installed less than 24 hours but it's enough to be slightly alarming. I have a full open cabinet beneath and tons of ventilation so I know it's nothing to do with that. If this is your first induction range be prepared for a learning curve and a small investment of higher end cookware. The following work really well.. Cast iron All-clad Carbon steel The following suck Cheaply made metal alloys. The following won't work Aluminum Glass cookware You'll save a bit on power but not how you think.. induction units use the same wattage as traditional electric ranges but it takes a lot less time to heat up. Which is another thing.. your cooking habits will change. No more start the pan and then start chopping up whatever your cooking. Now you'll prep before turning the pan on.. hence the 20% of power savings most induction ranges claim. Be ready for the noise. Most inductions (my bertazzoni excluded) make a hum/hiss noise when cooking. This is from the reaction of the metal cookware itself. Some higher end ranges have figured out how to minimize this but this range makes no attempt to. You can reduce it yourself by using cast iron.. the heavier the better..

Oustanding Cooktop!. I upgraded my range to a double wall oven and needed a cooktop. This was so much more affordable than almost any other induction 30" cooktop I could find. It was even more affordable than some of the standard electric cooktops! INSTALLATION was a bit of work. First, removing a range to go with a cooktop and wall oven means that you need to add a 40 AMP dedicated circuit. This was pretty expensive to do and caused a lot of extra work for me to fix (drywall, moving the outlet, etc). If you already have a cooktop - good for you! The rest of us should expect additional expenses. Cutting the counter was so scary! I'd never done this before. I was told to use a 140 tooth circular saw, but I actually found a jigsaw worked much better and there are lots of bits with a ton of teeth. I had to cut some of the inside of the cabinet as well since this was just over 29" wide. On a standard 30" cabinet it wouldn't work. Once done, there was a lot of room (about a quarter to half an inch on all sides) so that the vents were clear. The vents also go on the bottom as well as the side so that helps. But it doesn't really get hot down there. I was going to take out the drawers but so far, I've been testing clearance and the heat and it is working with them in. Obviously, you should follow the instructions. What works for me may not for you and overheating is a serious consideration. USE is outstanding! I used a magnet from the fridge to see which of my pots and pans would work. I ended up having to get rid of about half of mine. But the rest are great. I put on rapid boil - I'll try to upload a video - and went to boil in about 3 minutes. Cooking is easy once you do it a few times. The glass is hot under the pan even though the heat doesn't come from the glass. LOOKS really nice! Very smooth. I found it easy to clean but my old range had a glass top and I was used to it. OVERALL this took a bit of work and additional costs to do a new install. But I am very happy with the results

I doubt I would have bought it, IF I understood.... I doubt I would have bought it, IF I understood that I could NOT use 90% of my present cookware, i.e. NO Coringware; NO aluminum stock pots; etc. I have had to spend a couple hundred $$ for NEW cookware - NONE of which I like as well as my old pots and pans - some of which I inherited from GGrandma

There is a wiring diagram stapled to the manual to convert Euro to American. - connect blue with red, brown with black, green with earth. There are 4 brackets to secure it underneath the counter (they grip on so no drilling needed) and adhesive gasket goes between the countertop and the stove - so silicone is not needed. Just turn off breaker, add seal, drop it in, wire it up, apply brackets, reset breaker. Installation was effortless, except for the mess left by the previous cooktop (current model GE): 1) This is not very deep. You may find like me that your existing hole is too big depth-wise. 2) Because of it being a tad smaller, there was silicone residue on display on my countertop from the previous installation which is super hard to remove. So my hole was about 3mm too big at the front and 3mm at the back, which I have fixed with some black silicone tape trim. You cant tell because it bevels down nicely. The induction aspect is great. I can boil a full large pot in a couple of minutes, and it reacts to temperate setting changes instantly. Its probably about 4+ times faster than my conventional stove with less watts!!!! Btw, I feel the lower watt burners are more powerful than the high watt burner on a conventional stove Last night I used a stainless steel frying pan to fry some mushrooms, which I would never use on a traditional electric cooktop because its not non-stick and the mushrooms would burn on, plus the pan would be impossible to clean. But I found the mushrooms did not stick and there was no burn on the pan. Maybe because the steel vibrates on an atomic level?? Also on my old (white glass) cooktop whenever I was done cooking it was a real chore to clean because everything burned on the surface (it would even leave burn marks if nothing spilled), but with this cooktop the glass only gets residual heat so it doesnt burn on. The positives: - Wildly better to cook with than heating elements. More powerful and instant response to temperature - Easy install - Touch sensitive controls like a phone - dont need to poke - Less food sticks to pans - Food doesnt burn onto glass / cant see stains - Price!! The negatives: -Too narrow depth-wise - Unknown Euro import brand means parts may be unavailable. The cooktop may be a writeoff if it needs a repair?? - Shows fingerprints like crazy -I cleaned some oil splatter with a little palmolive ultra detergent on a wet cloth, and rinsed thoroughly. But when it dried the touch buttons wouldnt work at all. I got panicked. I had to re-wash and apply finger grease all over to make the buttons work again. Its like the detergent applied a fine film that made the buttons not work. That shouldnt happen. - Boost mode to cook fast, but this would have been better to just make as a temperature setting 10 - You have to hit the appropriate burner button and then the temperature setting to change temperature. I wish it would remember your last burner selection. This slows things down when things are bubbling over. -When cleaning and you run your rag over the controls, the lock button activates. Then you need to hold it down for 3 seconds to unlock. It would be better if you have to hold it down for 3 seconds to activate it as well. So far I am over the moon. But I just hope it lasts!

Well built...hopefully? new update added!!!!. This cooktop is to replace my existing induction cooktop. My old one was by Ramblewood and was terribly built and shattered its glass top the first time I use it. I couldn't return because it was over return period. This one, I've used couple times but so far seems well built. Even feels heavier than my old one. Hopefully this one will last years. I'll update if anything changes. alrighty, here is the update after a month and half of use, nothing goes wrong, everything works as they supposed to. and the tempered glass surface is easy to keep clean. I will definitely recommend this product

Game changer ??. After installing myself and thoroughly testing this induction range for a couple weeks, I am 100% satisfied with the quality, function and value for the $$.Using this range is a superior experience cooking compared to gas and radiant electric. The things I like most are the fast heat, easy cleaning and even distribution of heat. My previous radiant stove top I needed to use an abrasive glass top cleanser at least once a week due to burnt on food. With this induction stovetop, a damp paper towel is all that is needed. The controls are intuitive and fully functional. There is a change to tactile feel around the burners to help indicate when your cookware is centered. This is a well-made product which is available at an extremely competitive price.?? Tip. You will have an improved experience using induction cookware that is 100% ferrous metal, as opposed to aluminum cookwear with a ferrous metal plate sandwiched bottom side

Switched from gas cooktop to electric. We had this major renovation and decided to switch from gas to electric because this cooktop looks so nice. As it turns out, it definitely was worth it. The cooking time is nearly half now. We are not too picky about food so we didn't notice any difference, but I'm sure Gordon Ramsay would say otherwise

Need iron pans for it to work.. Arrive on time and we installed ourselves. So far so good. I will have to get some iron pans that will conduct the heat. Good reason to get cast iron pans

I've used this cooktop for a couple of months and it performs flawlessly. It takes some time to get accustomed to the keypad. One problem is the placement of the keypad, it's right where you would rest your hand while you are cooking, That shuts the burners off. Secondly, the necessity to use flat steel bottom pans meant that I had to buy a new set of compatible pans, All in all I'm happy with my new cooktop.

Awesome. Box came slightly damaged. The booklet it comes with doesn't tell you about the Lo Message on the cook top. It means Locked and can be removed by holding the key symbol for 5 to 10 seconds. Instructions could have been better. Now I just need to make a frame for it

Gas range convert. Was always a gas range chef. After some 'unlearning' from knobs to electronic controls and the physics behind the cooktop, I am hooked. This is a great cooktop and even my wife and kids enjoy cooking on it now

A friend who is an electrician installed it for us. Its working great, looks beautiful. We had to buy new pots but we needed a cooktop with power and this one offered more watts than others.

Keep the controls clean, read your manual.... This cooktop works beautifully. It seems to have plenty of power to boil water quickly.Food heats evenly. I love the cook timer. Cleans up very easily. Nothing ever burns to carbon on the glass that requires chipping and scrubbing. I don't like 2 things. But it just isn't a problem. The burners will cycle on and off . But it doesn't seem to hurt anything. Food won't stick on my stainless cookware if I properly preheat them. The second thing is watch that you don't drip water or let the control buttons get dirty or greasy. The water will simply turn off your burner if it drips on the on off. And greasy top or fingers will not let the buttons work properly. The buttons are really cool. They work like your smart phone ...I've pan fried Chicken, cooked eggs, boiled huge pots of water, used iron skillet, made omelets, fried potatoes, made fudge... The cook top in my opinion is awesome

Very good price and gets cooking done. This is considered good at its price but not as fancy for example the lower power settings are actually duty cycle control meaning it turns on and off periodically. The cutout is slightly longer (see attached pic) in the longer dimension compares to GM and you'll have to cut it either yourself or have a handy man to do it so get a quote on how much they charge, mine was cheap ($60) because I know him :) It has timer turn off function (my previous GM Monogram didn't have it even though it costs me $1500) and I don't trust GM anyone because it's a cheaply made OEM and just stamped its brand name on it

Excerllent, some quirks but you should go for it!. This cooktop is excellent. Its not perfect, but for the price it cant be beaten. There is a wiring diagram stapled to the manual to convert Euro to American. - connect blue with red, brown with black, green with earth. There are 4 brackets to secure it underneath the counter (they grip on so no drilling needed) and adhesive gasket goes between the countertop and the stove - so silicone is not needed. Just turn off breaker, add seal, drop it in, wire it up, apply brackets, reset breaker. Installation was effortless, except for the mess left by the previous cooktop (current model GE): 1) This is not very deep. You may find like me that your existing hole is too big depth-wise. 2) Because of it being a tad smaller, there was silicone residue on display on my countertop from the previous installation which is super hard to remove. So my hole was about 3mm too big at the front and 3mm at the back, which I have fixed with some black silicone tape trim. You cant tell because it bevels down nicely. The induction aspect is great. I can boil a full large pot in a couple of minutes, and it reacts to temperate setting changes instantly. Its probably about 4+ times faster than my conventional stove with less watts!!!! Btw, I feel the lower watt burners are more powerful than the high watt burner on a conventional stove Last night I used a stainless steel frying pan to fry some mushrooms, which I would never use on a traditional electric cooktop because its not non-stick and the mushrooms would burn on, plus the pan would be impossible to clean. But I found the mushrooms did not stick and there was no burn on the pan. Maybe because the steel vibrates on an atomic level?? Also on my old (white glass) cooktop whenever I was done cooking it was a real chore to clean because everything burned on the surface (it would even leave burn marks if nothing spilled), but with this cooktop the glass only gets residual heat so it doesnt burn on. The positives: - Wildly better to cook with than heating elements. More powerful and instant response to temperature - Easy install - Touch sensitive controls like a phone - dont need to poke - Less food sticks to pans - Food doesnt burn onto glass / cant see stains - Price!! The negatives: -Too narrow depth-wise - Unknown Euro import brand means parts may be unavailable. The cooktop may be a writeoff if it needs a repair?? - Shows fingerprints like crazy -I cleaned some oil splatter with a little palmolive ultra detergent on a wet cloth, and rinsed thoroughly. But when it dried the touch buttons wouldnt work at all. I got panicked. I had to re-wash and apply finger grease all over to make the buttons work again. Its like the detergent applied a fine film that made the buttons not work. That shouldnt happen. - Boost mode to cook fast, but this would have been better to just make as a temperature setting 10 - You have to hit the appropriate burner button and then the temperature setting to change temperature. I wish it would remember your last burner selection. This slows things down when things are bubbling over. -When cleaning and you run your rag over the controls, the lock button activates. Then you need to hold it down for 3 seconds to unlock. It would be better if you have to hold it down for 3 seconds to activate it as well. So far I am over the moon. But I just hope it lasts!

works great. Our learning curve has been with the pots .... Update 3/9/18: We are still VERY pleased with our cooktop. Everything works great, it heats quickly, cooks nicely, and is super easy to keep clean. Original feedback: We have had the cooktop for almost a month and are still learning to cooking with it. The cooktop, itself, works great. Our learning curve has been with the pots and pans more than the cooktop. =) Based on another review we found, the instructions for install are catered to European wiring. Once my husband found the conversion to American wiring, the install was extremely easy. We use the Anolon Nouvelle Copper SS pots and pans and are very pleased with their quality

We have been using this cooktop for a month now. No issues, no problems. It is different to cook on than our individual induction elements, as it cycles more noticeably. It cleans up nicely, doesn't scratch easily with out cast iron. All in all, a great cooktop.
