Jackery DC-DC Alternator Charger

I installed my new Jackery DC-DC charger myself in about three hours total labor time. The instructions are clear with helpful pictures of the key installation steps. Everything is working perfectly and I am 100 percent happy with my purchase.

Very difficult to operate. Disappointing. Almost no support from jackery, could not get this system.to deliver power. Don't buy

4000 mile road trip. The jackery 1500 system I purchased thru Costco performed as represented and recharged quickly by 110 outlet, and .y generator when out remotely. I also purchased the 12 volt 600 amp auto charge system. Ready for my next trip.

Great customer service. Ordered the 300D to use in my rooftop tent. Excited when I got it but when I opened it I had received the 240D. It was ready to make that mistake when it was pulled to ship. I reported it and was asked to supply multiple versions of proof, I figured, to identify where the breakdown happened. Admin was very prompt at getting the replacement and a return label.

Best decision I ever made. I’ve only had my DC to DC charger installed for a little over a week and I couldn’t be happier. It charges the battery very quick while I drive and also when I’m idling my jeep. Haven’t even needed the solar.

It was returned Never used. Not compatible with v1 products.

Easy install, works great. I would give it 5 stars but it only works with the new generation of jackery models.

Update. Defective out of the box. Going on three weeks without a replacement or a refund. This whole experience has been terrible. Jackery did send a working replacement. When it arrived the box had been torn open, repacked and taped shut. I was amazed that it worked with damage to the box. It was a slow process but Jackery did stand behind their product and made things right.

I had an issue with the charger and contacted Jackery customer service. They were helpful and they asked If it would be ok to send me a new one out. That was in the afternoon and one day later I received it, plugged in the three connectors and it has been working flawlessly. It is a great product, I have it connected to a Jackery 1000 v2 in my car and a 48 quart dual zone cooler plugged in to that. I drive pretty much daily so I can leave the cooler on as much as I want to with both the freezer and refrigerator sides on. This is something that I have wanted to be able to do for a very long time. I also did some research on dc to dc chargers that charge to other battery / generators. There is a guy on YouTube who tested the strain put on your alternator at different charge rates, he found no strain until after 500 watts charging at 1000 watts the strain was significant. The 1000 version is charging through one of the solar panel ports and charges at 400 watts (ish) max. So simple, 1. pos and neg to the battery 2. one wire to an ignition switched fuse (go to startmycar.com to find which fuse you want to use, super cool tool). Then plug in the charging cable and you are done! I will never not have a dc cooler in my car again!

I finally got my Jackery DC to DC charger installed: weather was an issue. Installation was easy as all connectors were preinstalled and everything necessary was included. The charging to my Jackery Explorer 3000 v2 works perfect.

Installed in a sailboat with a small 14hp engine with a 40amp alternator. At 2000rpm the DC-DC Alternator charger is providing 400 watts. Works exactly as I’d hoped, very easy install.

Easy. Out of the box it was easy to set up and and connect to my phone. I have a 2000+ with solar pannels. i have only tested the pannels so far as i don't need them yet but with plain sun at an low angle (poor sun day) the pannel charged at about 80%. all the pieces are plug and play no connecting wires. I am very happy.

I Purchased the DC - DC charger for my 2022 Santa Fe to charge my 3600 watt generator when I need to take a 4.5 hour one way trip to my doctors office. I need to use Oxygen the entire trip. The Oxygen concentrator uses 550 watts the new DC To DC charger puts out 591 watts so it keeps the generator fully charged while running my concentrator at full. The only issue I found was the DcTo DC charger does not show up only he Jackery app to see how well it is working so you need to keep an eye on it take sure it is not getting too hot. I think it works great for my needs.

Works great -- just as advertized. I connected it into my 2023 Ford Transit camper van to charge my Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus while driving. Six time faster charging than the cigarette lighter charger -- 600W versus 100W. And it charges ONLY when the engine is running (alternator is providing a higher voltage) AND when I have the auxiliary switch turned on that is powered by the ACC line that I can control from the driver's seat. Perfect for this application.

Jackery DC-DC Alternator Charger - Review. I ordered this and discovered that it has no user control functions. Aka via an app. No firmware upgrade, no voltage controls, etc. Tech support was lack luster as well. I returned it and ordered a Bluetti Charger 1. Very satisifed with it.

Unit that arrived was clearly used. The unit arrived to my house with the seal broken, and two of the rubber feet missing. It was clearly a returned unit that somehow ended up back on the shelf. I had some problems getting it setup, which I figured was because the returned item was defective, but it seems to be working now. Not happy with receiving a used, potentially defective unit. Also only pulls ~400w when it was advertised as ~600w. But for the unit itself, the instructions were very clear and helpful, the unit seems sturdy, and the included cables are high quality.
