This Rove Concepts Milo sofa review covers what the Milo is actually made of, how big it really is, how the modular sectional fits together and who it suits. Rove says Milo is formed with more width than the average sofa: it is a 94.4 inch three seater with a 25.2 inch seat depth, 8 gauge sinuous springs and seat cushions topped with goose feathers. That combination makes it a lounging sofa first. Below we walk through the specs from our product pages and Rove’s own listings, the configurations we carry, the questions people ask before buying, and where it fits against other Rove sofas.
Rove Concepts Milo sofa review: the short version
- Best for: large living rooms, loungers, and anyone who wants to grow a sofa into a sectional later.
- Think twice if: your room is narrow, you prefer an upright, firm seat, or you have shorter legs and want your feet flat on the floor while your back touches the cushion.
- Feel: Rove labels the Milo Sofa and Milo Modular Sectional “Soft Feel” (the Milo Sleeper Sofa is listed as “Medium Feel”).
- Ratings on Rove’s site (checked 3 Oct 2026): Milo Sofa 4.9 out of 5 from 116 reviews; Milo Modular Sectional 4.9 out of 5 from 257 reviews.
How the Milo is built: springs, foam and feathers
The construction listed on our Rove Concepts Milo Sofa page matches Rove’s description:
- Kiln-dried hardwood frame with doweled joints and reinforced corner blocks.
- Soft-padded frame made with polyurethane foam wrapped in polyester fiber.
- 8 gauge sinuous spring construction under the seat.
- 3 layer high-density foam cushioning topped with 100% goose feathers.
- Round, low profile solid stainless steel legs (2.4 inch leg height) that need light assembly.
- Four throw cushions included with the sofa.
Note that Rove’s listing says goose feathers, not down. Like any feather topping, they flatten with use, so plump and rotate the cushions regularly.
Milo sofa dimensions and seat depth
Milo is a big sofa, and the numbers explain why it feels so lounge-friendly. These are from our product listings, which carry Rove’s published measurements (Rove notes a tolerance of one-tenth of an inch to 2 inches).
| Measurement | Milo Sofa |
|---|---|
| Overall width | 94.4 in |
| Overall depth | 39.4 in |
| Height | 31.5 in |
| Seat depth | 25.2 in |
| Seat height | 17.7 in |
| Seat width | 37.7 in |
| Arm height / arm thickness | 25 in / 9.5 in |
| Max weight limit | 770 lb |
A 25.2 inch seat depth is deep. Tall people get support to the knee; shorter people will likely lean on the throw cushions or tuck their legs up. Our sofa depth guide explains how to match seat depth to your height, and Are Rove Concepts couches comfortable? compares Milo’s seat with other Rove sofas.
The 9.5 inch arms take up almost 19 inches of the 94.4 inch width, so plan around the seat width, not just the overall length.
Milo modular sectional: pieces and configurations
Milo is fully modular: the sofa and sectional pieces share the same seat height (17.7 in), back height (31.5 in) and seat depth, so you can buy the sofa now and add pieces later. The pieces and presets we list:

| Milo Ottoman | 47.2 x 39.3 in, 17.7 in high | $1,259 |
| Milo Corner | 40 x 40 in | $1,399 |
| Milo Modular Sectional (left arm, armless, right arm, ottoman) | 133.4 x 78.7 in | $4,409 |

*Prices shown on our product pages on 3 Oct 2026 for the finish in the listing title; some finishes are priced differently, so check the page for your choice.
Per Rove’s FAQ, the Modular Sectional ships in four boxes: three at 50 x 42 x 26 inches and the ottoman at 50 x 41 x 16 inches. Measure doorways and stairs first.
How do Milo modular pieces stay together?
Our listings state “Connectors not included/compatible for this collection.” Rove’s FAQ says the pieces stay in place because of their substantial weight and recommends a rug underneath to help hold their position. Our modular vs regular sectional guide covers the trade-offs of connector-free modular seating in more detail.
Milo sleeper options
For a guest room there are two sleepers. The Milo Sleeper Sofa is 88 x 40 x 31.5 inches, listed at 661 lb max and “Medium Feel.” The Milo Sleeper Sectional is 88 x 69 x 31.5 inches with a 23.6 inch seat depth, 17 inch seat height and a 660 lb max. Both include a washable mesh mattress cover. Note the sleeper’s seat is shallower than the standard Milo, and the sleeper sofa is about 6 inches narrower.
Fabrics and cleaning
The Milo Sofa listing shows 123 finish options across fabric families including Performance Linen, Performance Weave, Chatou Bouclé, Plush Velvet, Ombra Velvet, Modern Felt, Venice Vegan Suede, PU Leather and Genuine Leather. Cleaning depends on the fabric, and Rove’s FAQ points buyers to its product care guide. Performance fabrics are the practical pick for a family room. Order swatches before you commit.

Milo vs other Rove sofas
- Milo vs Berlin: both are “Soft Feel” with feather-topped foam cushions, but Berlin has channel-tufted detailing and a lower 25 inch back, and its modular pieces join with included connectors, while Milo’s pieces rely on their weight. See our Rove Concepts Berlin sofa review.
- Milo vs Kaye: both are modular lounge sofas; Kaye is built around removable covers. See the Kaye sofa review.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Rove Concepts Milo sofa comfortable?
It is built for lounging: Rove labels it “Soft Feel,” the seat is 25.2 inches deep, and the cushions are high-density foam topped with goose feathers over 8 gauge sinuous springs. Taller people and people who sit with their legs up tend to suit it best. If you want an upright, firm seat, look at a shallower, firmer Rove model instead.
What do Milo sectional reviews say?
On Rove’s own site the Milo Modular Sectional showed 4.9 out of 5 from 257 reviews and the Milo Sofa 4.9 out of 5 from 116 reviews when we checked on 3 Oct 2026. Read the individual reviews on Rove’s pages for comments on your specific fabric.
Can I add pieces to a Milo sofa later?
Yes. The arm, armless, corner and ottoman pieces share the sofa’s seat and back height, so you can grow into an L shape or corner sectional. Order the same fabric and color.
How much weight can the Milo hold?
Our Milo Sofa listing gives a 770 lb max weight limit and the Milo Corner 330 lb. Rove’s FAQ for the Milo Modular Sectional quotes a 330 lb max weight capacity, which is much lower than the sofa’s figure, so call us to confirm the limit for your configuration.
